一、教材分析:
本單元的核心教學(xué)內(nèi)容是“認(rèn)物”,主要學(xué)習(xí)句子what are these/ those? they’re… book 4a中已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)what’s this/ that? it’s…句型。教學(xué)中教師可以采用以舊帶新的方法,從單數(shù)句式引出復(fù)數(shù)句式,還可以通過單復(fù)數(shù)形式比較找出它們之間的區(qū)別。本單元出現(xiàn)了八個水果類單詞,除了grapes是第一次出現(xiàn)以外,其余七種均在book 3a第三單元中出現(xiàn)過。本單元出現(xiàn)的是這些單詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式,涉及到詞形、讀音的變化,是教學(xué)中的難點(diǎn)。教師可以對名詞復(fù)數(shù)的詞形和讀音進(jìn)行歸類。教師在設(shè)計情境的時候,將book 3b里學(xué)過的在商店里購物的常用語can i help you? what would you like? how much is it/ are they? 與本單元how many kilos? these or those? 等緊密結(jié)合,讓學(xué)生更熟練充分地操練對話,使學(xué)生有話可說。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn):
1. 能聽懂、會說、會讀和會拼寫單詞buy, apples, oranges, bananas, peaches, grapes, pears, some.
2. 能聽懂、會說和會讀日常交際用語can i help you? these or those?
3. 能聽懂、會說、會讀和會寫句型what are these/ those? they’re … how many kilos? …kilos, please.

教學(xué)難點(diǎn):
1. 學(xué)生能在生活中用本單元句型英語正確地認(rèn)物。
2. 初步掌握名詞復(fù)數(shù)的詞形和讀音的變化。
3. 了解輔音字母組合th在單詞中的兩種不同讀音。
課時建議:4課時
第一課時:教學(xué)b部分八個單詞apples, oranges, bananas, peaches, grapes, pineapples, watermelons, pears. 利用水果實(shí)物圖片,由單數(shù)句型what’s this/ that? it’s…引出句型what are these/those? they’re….
第二課時:復(fù)習(xí)鞏固b. c,創(chuàng)設(shè)購物的情境,學(xué)習(xí)d部分新句型how many kilos? …kilo(s), please.
第三課時:創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,鞏固c. d部分對話,學(xué)習(xí)a部分對話,綜合運(yùn)用句型,引出e部分的內(nèi)容:these or those? the red/ big/small/…ones, please.
第四課時:熟練掌握a. e對話內(nèi)容,鞏固本單元全部句型,完成f. g的游戲、誦讀教學(xué)。教師要盡可能創(chuàng)設(shè)讓學(xué)生感興趣的情境,讓學(xué)生通過各種感官“認(rèn)物”,逐步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的說話能力。在<i like fruit>小詩中,能讓學(xué)生自己換詞創(chuàng)詩歌,激發(fā)學(xué)生探究學(xué)習(xí)的興趣。
二、教學(xué)建議:
1. 單詞教學(xué):本課的單詞除了grapes以外,都是book 3a中學(xué)過的,并且也是以復(fù)數(shù)的形式出現(xiàn),因此教師在free talk中用句型i like apples. what do you like? 復(fù)習(xí)導(dǎo)入。教師可以利用水果圖片先復(fù)習(xí)apples, oranges, bananas, peaches, pineapples, watermelons, pears.然后教教grape:[great, tape], 造詞組:big grapes, small grapes, many grapes, some grapes, how many grapes,滲透拓展purple grapes.教師必須將b部分八個單詞全部板書,并且單復(fù)數(shù)用不同顏色的粉筆區(qū)分,讓學(xué)生初步發(fā)現(xiàn)名詞復(fù)數(shù)的變化規(guī)則以及發(fā)音,在學(xué)生自主發(fā)現(xiàn)的基礎(chǔ)上,教師簡要介紹名詞復(fù)數(shù)形式的構(gòu)成規(guī)則。由于本單元學(xué)習(xí)的水果單詞較多,教師可以采用smell and touch, taste and guess, 我單你復(fù),我復(fù)你單等游戲教學(xué)。結(jié)合g部分的rhyme,讓學(xué)生利用所學(xué)的單詞編成新的小詩,鞏固單詞發(fā)音的同時,能讓學(xué)生更好的認(rèn)識水果顏色、味道等方面的特征。
2. 句型教學(xué):
a: what are these/ those? they’re…教師可以從book 4a中學(xué)過的句子what’s this/ that? it’s…入手,通過單復(fù)數(shù)比較自然過渡到復(fù)數(shù)句子。教師要注意this/ these, that/ those中th的正確發(fā)音。為了清楚地區(qū)分these和those,教師在教的時候要注意物品擺放的遠(yuǎn)近。問what are these?時,物品要放近處,問what are those時,物品要放遠(yuǎn)處。為了激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,教師可以整合g部分1、2,通過感官來學(xué)習(xí)句型,還可以主語變換are they…? yes, they are. /no, they aren’t.讓學(xué)生摸一摸,猜一猜,直到猜對為止。在鞏固what are these/ those句型時,教師不必局限于水果類單詞,還可以食品、飲料類的,盡可能讓學(xué)生發(fā)揮運(yùn)用語言的能力。
b:how many kilos?... kilo(s), please.課前布置學(xué)生帶好各種水果,上課時讓他們放在課桌上。教師帶一個天平秤,創(chuàng)設(shè)買賣水果的情境。教師可以當(dāng)一個農(nóng)民的形象,告訴學(xué)生今天將擺一個水果市場,舉行“買水果”的活動,教學(xué)buying fruit。擴(kuò)展組詞buy books/ apples/ drinks…
教師應(yīng)簡單說明fruit是“水果”的總稱。教師示范先當(dāng)農(nóng)民,引出how many kilos?的句型,鼓勵學(xué)生用以前學(xué)過的句型及用語來表演。

3、課文教學(xué):
課文是單詞及句型的一個整合。學(xué)生在讀熟、理解的基礎(chǔ)上可進(jìn)行角色扮演,然后再分組,安排話題讓學(xué)生自由編造新的對話。各部分內(nèi)容可以穿插運(yùn)用。

教師可以根據(jù)小詩的難易進(jìn)行修改,在教會學(xué)生會讀的基礎(chǔ)上,讓學(xué)生自己改編詩歌,激發(fā)學(xué)生自主探究學(xué)習(xí)的能力。
教師還可以改編成:pears, bananas, pineapples.
