2.   以簡筆畫的形式教學后三個短語：cook the meals, sweep the floor, empty the trash。教師在黑板上畫上一個鍋、一把掃帚和一個垃圾桶，然后一邊提問一邊做動作，讓學生猜短語，表揚猜對的學生，然后請學生將準備好的單詞卡貼到相應的簡筆畫旁。

（設計意圖：借助簡筆畫增強課堂教學的趣味性，培養學生仔細觀察，積極思考的學習習慣。）
3.   出示動作卡片，動作表演操練短語及句型i’m helpful. i can sweep the floor.
4. 小組活動自編chant ：全班共分為五個大組，每組各抽一張動作卡片，用句型表述出來，通過接龍完成歌謠，問句由教師給出:
t:  what can you do ? what can you do?
g1: i’m helpful. i’m helpful. i can water the flowers.
g2:  i’m helpful. i’m helpful. i can clean the bedroom.
g3:  i’m helpful. i’m helpful. i can cook the meals.
g4:  i’m helpful. i’m helpful. i can sweep the floor.
g5:  i’m helpful. i’m helpful. i can empty the trash.
s:   yeah!
step4. games
1、請每組請一名學生到黑板前聽短語指圖片，教師發指令，學生做動作。
2、simon says游戲，要求每組請一位同學參加，規則為：老師說“simon says，sweep the floor.”時，學生做動作。老師說“sweep the floor”時，學生停止做動作。老師用此方法發出不同的指令，學生聽指令做動作，做錯的同學自然淘汰，最后留下的一名學生為獲勝者。
step5. consolidation and extension
1、讓學生抄寫短語cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom.
2、讓學生每天在家中做適量的家務，并用英語表述出來，使他們養成愛勞動的好習慣。
