教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
1.能正確地聽、說、讀、寫詞匯a star,a square,a diamond,a rectangle,
a triangle,a circle。
2.能正確地聽、說、讀、寫句型what shape is the …?it’s a …
3.使學(xué)生學(xué)會靈活運(yùn)用新知識，很好地完成交際任務(wù)。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：能正確理解、掌握新詞匯和句型，并能運(yùn)用表演。
教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：能正確運(yùn)用形狀名詞解決問題。
教具準(zhǔn)備：vcd、小黑板、彩色圖片、單詞掛板、音標(biāo)掛板、單詞彩色卡、日歷牌、星棒
教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備：學(xué)生練習(xí)紙（a.do a survey.b.look,find and write）、
學(xué)習(xí)歌曲《《twinkle twinkle,little stars》、學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備各種形狀日用品。
教學(xué)過程：

step 2.revision and presentation
1.free talk.
2.talk about the objects ,and teach the new words and sentences:

a star (音標(biāo)卡)讀寫音標(biāo)；
(單詞卡)對應(yīng)音標(biāo)師生書寫單詞。
3.read and say.
4.chant.

5.practice:學(xué)生利用自己的物品進(jìn)行說話。
6.learn to say “a square” and pratice in the same way.

設(shè)計(jì)思路：
本課時(shí)主要內(nèi)容為學(xué)習(xí)圖形，但如何將枯燥的知識轉(zhuǎn)化成為大量的語言實(shí)踐活動(dòng)，并最終成為使學(xué)生能用英語進(jìn)行交際的技能課，這成為我首要考慮的問題。因此我借助學(xué)生很喜歡的“圣誕節(jié)”來設(shè)計(jì)課堂活動(dòng)，讓學(xué)生有選擇地帶來各種物品，預(yù)先制作圣誕卡，學(xué)唱歌曲，并把教室布置得充滿圣誕氣氛，甚至板書都圍繞此設(shè)計(jì)。
