1、let’s try: listen and do.
2、ss practise the structures: “i can see a … in picture 1/2.”。 step3. presentation
1、出示一個房間，然后在房間里出教師本人，然后介紹說：“look，this is me. i have my own room now.”， 強調“my own room”的發音，讓學生跟說。教師繼續出示自己的書本等物品，并介紹說：“my own book/pen…”，引導學生出示他們的物品說出：“my own … ”，最后讓學生拿出紙，畫上一個房間，對周圍的同學說：“look! i have my own room now.”
2、教師出示mirror，并向學生介紹說：“in my room there is a mirror.”，讓學生跟說。教師再重復說：“in my room there is a new mirror.”，再讓學生跟說。然后是air-conditioner，與mirror相同，再連起來說：“in my room there is a new air-conditioner and a new mirror.”，再是導出closet，先說：“in my room there is a closet.”，然后說：“in my room there is a big closet. ”，最后說：“there is a big closet，a new air-conditioner and a new mirror.”。教師讓學生把這幾樣東西畫在房間里，同桌之間進行相互練習說一說。出示blue curtains，教師介紹說：“there are blue curtains.”，并通過教師動作手勢與there is 句型進行比較，并且教師可以多給學生一些比較，例如：there is a desk. there are 3 desks.等等�？傊寣W生明白there is 和there are句型的不同，然后讓學生把blue curtains畫上去，讓學生根據自己的畫把三個句子連起來說，教師可給學生一些鼓勵。
3、在學生說說自己畫的房間時，教師可以穿插問：“what’s it like?”，通過模仿后，讓一名學生a上來，背對屏幕，課件出示一個新房間的圖片，教師重新布置房間，每次選兩至三幅圖片貼入房內。教師引導學生提問：“what’s it like?”，根據學生情況確實活動次數。
4、出示課文對話，讓學生跟讀、模仿。
5、做替換練習：讓學生兩人一組用自己畫的圖片做替換step4.consolidation and extension
1、talk and draw。
2、教師介紹good to know部分的知識。
3、做活動手冊a let’s talk 部分的配套練習。 教

反
思雖然以前已經接觸過there is a…/there are…的句型，但仍是本課學習的難點，要注意相似句型的比較。
