i want to be a doctor.
what's your dad? he's a doctor.

教具準備(teaching aids)
1.準備本課的學生卡片、教師卡片、教學掛圖、投影片、錄音磁帶。
2.準備第13課的錄音磁帶。
3.準備自己家的合影。
4.根據(jù)班里的學生人數(shù)制作一張調查表。
教學步驟
step1. 熱身 / 復習(warm-up / revision)
(1)播放第13課的磁帶。讓學生集中注意力,聽之前要注意兩個問題:what's tom's father? what's tom's mother? 在聽的過程中明確tom 的父母的職業(yè)。
(2)學生以小組為單位,討論tom的全家,特別要注意介紹他的父母的職業(yè):his father is a teacher.his mother is a tailor.看一看哪個小組表現(xiàn)好,給予獎勵。
step2.新課導入(presentation)
(1)教師組織全體學生拿出自己準備好的全家福照片一起做游戲。教師明確小組要求,學生立即指出自己的爸爸并說:this is my father.he is a ....
(2)要求每組選出代表到講臺前做介紹。
(3)教師展示本課教學掛圖,明確人物之間的關系。
(4)教師提出問題:
how old is wei min?
what's his father?
what's his mother?
what does he want to be in the future?
listen to the tape and tell me the answers.
(5)播放錄音,讓學生聽后回答問題。要根據(jù)實際情況選擇聽錄音的遍數(shù)。
(6)請若干學生回答問題,教師要給予適當?shù)墓膭钤u價。
(7)再放錄音,核對以上問題的答案。
(8)教師請學生聽錄音跟讀模仿。
step 3.趣味操練(practice)
(1)教師拿出事先準備好的全家福照片,首先向學生做示范介紹。
hello, boys and girls, look at the photo of my family.
this is my father.he's a doctor.this is my mother.
she's a teacher.what do i want to be in the future?
i want to be a teacher.i love my father and mother.we are a happy family.
(2)教師將全班分成若干小組,讓學生在小組內做自己家庭的介紹。
(3)請每組選一個代表到講臺來,拿著自己的家庭照片做介紹。教師和同學共同給予評價。

(4)教師舉起代表不同職業(yè)的卡片,讓學生搶答。如:教師舉起一個出租車司機的圖片,學生應立即說出 taxi driver,也可以反過來,教師說英語讓學生舉圖片。
(5)互動游戲:在全班范圍內以兩人一組,選擇自己的好朋友,交換家庭的照片,在真實的情景中復習鞏固單詞和句型。
(6)對話表演:以小組為單位,學生自行分配角色,三人一組,分角色演練本課對話。
step 4.課堂評價(assessment)
教師指導學生完成《活動手冊》中相關的內容。
