1  finish the activities in task time.
2  understand and say the sentences---- can you …?
yes,ican./no,ican't, but i'd like to have a try!
三、教學重難點
1 new sentence patterns: can you …? yes, i can. / no, i can' t. 2 the difficult point is the sentence: i' d like to have a try.
四、教學用具
1  pictures of let' s talk.
2  word cards
3  recorder and tape
五、教學步驟
1 warm up
(1)let' s chant in part b.
(2)look at the pictures on the board. chant---- can you do housework?
2 preview 
(1)game 1 : number and the picture.  put the pictures on the board. number the pictures.  t: no. 7.  ss say the phrase as quickly as possible. 
(2)game 2: what' s missing?  t: one, two, three. open your eyes. what' s missing? 
(3)game 3: rolling ball.  s1: i can set the table.  s2: i can set the table and do the dishes. 
(4)spell and write the phrases in let' s learn part b.
3 presentation 
let' s try
(1)listen to the recording of let's try.  boy: i can make the bed. i can do the dishes. and i can empty the trash.girl: i can sweep the floor. i can cook the meals. i can wash the clothes.
(2)listen and link.---- who are they?
(3)look at the picture and ask and answer.
 ask: can sarah wash the clothes / …? answer:  yes, / no, ….
let's talk
(1)listen to the tape.  repeat after the recording.  pay attention to the pronunciation andthe meaning of the sentence " but i'd like to have a try!"
(2)group work.work in group of four, practise the dialogue.
(3)train game.task timeinterview five students using the question " can you …?"  fill in the form.record the results in a chant.  then make a report to your classmates.
4 consolidation and extension
(1) do the exercises of let's talk part b in activity books. (2)  listen to the tape.
(3) recite the new words and sentences.
5 homework  make a dialogue after let' s talk.
