t: ok. let’s turn to the dialog to find the answers. please read the dialog by yourselves, and try to find the answers to the questions.

who knows a lot about fashion?

t: now, let’s listen to the tape with our eyes closed. try to imagine the beautiful models on the catwalk.
(聽完后師生共同找出關鍵詞,并板書。)

t: now, please practice the dialog with your partner. then i’ll ask some pairs to act the dialog out in the front of the class.

1. (學生到講臺上從教師準備好的紙條中抽出一份,先讀原句再轉述給其他學生。)
t: we know jane and sarah are watching a fashion show. jane is telling sarah something about models. who wants to help jane to tell us what she is saying?
example:
(1) s1: people call it a cheongsam.
s1: jane said that people called it a cheongsam.
(2) s2: it’s a traditional dress for chinese women.
s2: jane said that it was a traditional dress for chinese women.
(3) s3: i’m not sure.
s3: jane said that she was not sure.
…
(在學生轉述句子時,如出現錯誤,教師應及時糾正錯誤。)
2. (根據以上 例子,讓學生雙人練習。)
t: very good. now practice in pairs according to the above sentences. one speaks out a simple sentence, and the other changes it into an object clause.
example:
s4: i am wearing a blue coat.
s5: s4 said that he/she was wearing a blue coat.
