（1）it + be + 名詞 + that從句
① it’s a pity that we can’t go.
很遺憾我們不能去。
② it is a fact that english is being accepted as an international language.
英語正在被人們接受為國際語言，這是事實(shí)。
③ it is no wonder that he is not hungry; he has been eating sweets all day.
難怪他不餓，他整天在吃糖果。
（2）it + be + 形容詞 + that從句
① it is certain that she will do well in the exam.
毫無疑問她考試成績會很好。
② it is probable that he told her everything.
很可能他把一切都告訴她了。
③ is it true that the scientist will give us a lecture.
下周那位科學(xué)家將給我們作報告是真的嗎？
（3）it + be + 動詞的過去分詞 + that從句
① it is said that mr. green has arrived in beijing.
據(jù)說格林先生已經(jīng)到了北京。
② it is reported that china has sent another man-made earth satellite into orbit.
據(jù)報道中國又成功地將一顆人造地球衛(wèi)星發(fā)射進(jìn)入軌道。
（4）it + 不及物動詞 + that 從句
① it seems that alice is not coming to the party at all.
愛麗絲似乎不來參加晚會。
② it happened that i was out that day.
碰巧那天我外出了。
（5）其他情況
① it doesn’t matter whether she will come or not.
她是否來無關(guān)緊要。
② it makes no difference where we shall have the meeting.
我們在哪里開會毫無區(qū)別。
③ it suddenly occurred to her that she had forgotten to lock the door.
她突然想到,她忘記鎖門了。
另注意：在主語從句中用來表示驚奇、不相信、惋惜、理應(yīng)如此等語氣時，謂語動詞要用虛擬語氣“(should)+do”，常用的句型有：
a. it is necessary (important, natural, strange, funny, surprising etc.) that …
it is important and necessary that we(should)keep the balance of nature.
我們要維持生態(tài)平衡，這很重要而且是必不可少的。
b. it is a pity (a shame, no wonder, etc.) that…
it is a pity that you (should) miss such a good chance.
真遺憾你竟然失去這么好的機(jī)會。
c. it is suggested (requested, proposed, desired, etc.) that…
it’s suggested that we (should) do the experiment a second time.
有人建議我們再做一次實(shí)驗(yàn)。
