【學(xué)案導(dǎo)學(xué)】
1.few of the other students were so fast. 其他學(xué)生幾乎沒(méi)有跑這么快的。
few 是代詞,用來(lái)指代可數(shù)名詞,意思是“幾乎沒(méi)有,很少” 例如:
few people can live to be 100. 很少有人活到100歲。
few of the students can answer such hard questions.很少有學(xué)生能回答這么難得問(wèn)題。
few of them would like to swim in winter.他們幾乎沒(méi)有人愿意在冬天去游泳。
2.he did his best, but he kept falling off the pizzas! 他盡力了,但還是不斷的從“比薩餅” 上掉下來(lái)。 keeping doing 意思是“反復(fù)做某事,繼續(xù)做某事”強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的反復(fù)性。
keep on doing 意思是“不斷做。。。,一直做。。!睆(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的不間斷性。例如:
the telephone kept ringing. 電話鈴一次又一次的響起來(lái)。
whatever happens, keep on trying.無(wú)論發(fā)生什么事,都要繼續(xù)試下去。
3.if he practises walking on pizzas, he’ll do better next time! 如果他能在“比薩餅“上做行走練習(xí),下次他會(huì)做得更好。
practise意思是“練習(xí),實(shí)習(xí)” 后面跟動(dòng)名詞,即:practise doing 例如:
she is practising a new song.她在練習(xí)一首新歌。
he practises playing the piano three hours a day.他每天要練習(xí)彈鋼琴三個(gè)小時(shí)。
