8. you like to dream about everything. (p5) 你喜歡幻想。dream about/of，這里dream是不及物動詞，意思是“做夢”“夢見”“夢想”，后面接介詞about 或of短語。如：i didn’t dream last night.我昨晚沒做夢。i dream about/of traveling around the world我夢見環游世界。what did you dream about last night?你昨晚夢見什么？ dream也可做及物動詞，后接同源名詞dream 或that從句。如：i dreamed a sweet dream last night. 我昨晚做了個美夢。he dreamed that he was in shanghai.他夢見在上海。dream還可以用作名詞，意為“夢”“理想”。如：our dream will come true one day.我們的夢想總有一天會實現的。
9. daniel is clever, but he never shows off. (p8) 丹尼爾很聰明，但他從不炫耀。shows off，這里show off意思為“炫耀自己”，如： he just likes showing off. 他就喜歡賣弄自己。show sb./sth. off意為“炫耀某物”。如：she wanted to show off her new husband at the party.她想在晚會上炫耀她的新婚丈夫。
10. daniel is kind enough to help his friends all the times. (p10) 丹尼爾太好了，他在任何時候都幫助他的朋友。 at all times, 意為“隨時, 永遠”，在句中作狀語, 常置于句末。
又如: i am ready to help you at all times. 我隨時都愿幫助你.
11.he is imaginative enough to come up with new ideas. (p15) 他充滿想象力，能想出新點子。come up with, 意為“找到或提出 (答案、 辦法等)”, 在句中作謂語, 后邊接用名詞賓語。相當與 “think of”又如: at last he came up with the answer to the difficult question. 最后他找出了這個困難問題的答案。
