1.詢問某人的職業，一般有以下幾種學法：
（1）what+be+主語？主語是干什么的？
a.—what are you / they?
—we / they are doctors.
b.—what are you?
—i am a student.
c.—what is he /she?
—he / she is an actor.
d.—what are your parents?
—they are teachers.
(2)what do /does+主語+do.主語是干什么的？
a.—what do you do? 你是干什么的？
—i am a student. 我是一名學生
b.—what does he / she / your father / your mother do?
—he / she is a bank clerk.
(3)what + 主語’s job(s)? 某人的職業是什么？
a.—what’s your job?
—i am a student.
b.—what’s li lei’s job? 李磊的職業是什么？
—he is a reporter. 他是一名記者。
c.—what’s your mother’s / father’s job?
—he / she is a shop assistant.
(4)what do / does +主語+want to be? 主語想要成為……？
—what do you want to be?
—i want to be a policeman.
2、職業名詞的構詞法
(1)+er職業eg clean（打掃）→cleaner(清潔工)
sing（唱歌）→singer(歌手) report（報道）→veporter(記者)
wast(等待)→waiter work(工作)→worker(工人)
teache(教，講授)→teacher（教師） farm(農場)→farmer(農民)
(2)動詞+or eg:act(表演)→actor(演員) visit(參觀)→visitor
(3)名詞+iam eg:music(音樂；樂曲)——musician(音樂家)
(4)名詞+man+woman eg:post(有地，寄送)→pestman(郵遞員)
