一、教學目標：
1、四會掌握個節日的英語表達spring festival、halloween、 children’s day、mid-autumn festival、dragon boat festival、christmas. 
2、四會掌握句型when’s …? it’s in … 和what do people usually do at …? they usually …并能根據實際情況正確熟練地運用句型。
3、了解中西方的一些節日，并能知道不同國家和地區對于節日不同的慶祝方式。

step1： warming-up
1、sing a song: the signs in the park
2、 free talk: （指著顯示屏）
look, what does this sign mean? what does that sign mean?
（拿出圖片）well, what does this sign mean? (be quiet)
（事先準備）what does that sign mean? (no smoking)
what day is it today? 
what date is it today?
 when’s your birthday?
what would you like as a birthday present?
step2： revision
1、t:（拿出學過的幾個節日的圖片）look, what festival is it?
　   s: it’s national day.
　   t: well, when’s national day? （板書并解釋，幫助學生回答）
　   s: it’s on the first of october.
　   t: yes, it’s on the first of october. and we may say it’s in october.（板書）
2、may day / new year’s day / easter
step3 presentation
1、festivals: spring festival、halloween、children’s day、　　mid-autumn festival
（1）、present the pictures and teach to read them
（2）、meanwhile, teach the new expression “ when’s … ?” and it’s correct answer “ it’s in …”
（3）、reread the new expressions again.
（4）、review all the learnt festivals.
