(設計意圖:課前談話輕松導入新課unit6 holidays)
step3: presentation and practice
1 課前安排學生預習有關節日的單詞,為學習新課作鋪墊。
t: do you know some names of holidays?
first let’s look at a picture and listen to a song. then guess what holiday is it.(放一段happy new year的音樂,學生感知節日)
t shows the card and teaches the new word: new year’s day.(板書)
let’s read the words together……
s: new year’s day.
t: but in our china how we call it? look at a picture.
t: shows the card and teaches the new word: spring festival. (板書、學生跟讀)
教師問 what do the people usually do at spring festival? 教師自答 they usually…… (運用所學詞組,讓學生理解句型what do the people usually do?的意思,再向學生進行提問)
t: what do the people usually do at spring festival /on new year’s day?
s: they ……(ss answer.)
(設計意圖:用《happy new year》的音樂引出中國的春節,并同時向學生滲透中國的傳統文化,讓學生回憶過節時的情景。)
2 t: i have 4 things here. ( rice dumplings, moon cakes, easter eggs, pumpkin lanterns) what holiday we eat or make them?( ss can answer it in chinese.)
to teach the 4 holidays: mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival, easter, halloween.(課件出示相關內容,板書單詞,學生跟讀,在教授每個節日后,運用句型what do the people usually do at/on……? they……讓學生進行操練。)
(設計意圖:出示的四種物品中學生能根據 rice dumplings, moon cakes 知道這是中國傳統的節日( mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival )時所吃的的食品,通過教師的教授了解到easter eggs, pumpkin lanterns 是西方節日 easter, halloween 時的物品。)
3 t: i still have 3 pictures here. look at them and what do you think about them. what holiday is it? you can tell me in chinese.
teach the new words: national day, children’s day, may day.(板書,學生跟讀)
(設計意圖:從三張圖片中的國旗、唱唱跳跳的孩子們和工人們,學生都能猜出是中國的 national day, children’s day, may day. ,這三幅圖讓學生也了解到三個節日時人們通常都會做些什么。)
4 practice: a game
t: now we learn a lot of holidays. this time let’s play a game and guess what holiday is it?
逐步出現單詞,學生猜單詞
e.g: balloons happy children in june children’s day
5 (接游戲最后一個children’s day )
t: do you like children’s day.
s: yes!
t: you can guess what is my favourite festival.
(學生猜,練習已學單詞)
(設計意圖:通過學生自己介紹喜歡的節日的有關提示讓其他同學猜測自己喜歡的節日,不僅激發了學生的學習興趣,而且也培養了學生綜合運用語言的能力。)
