step 1 warm up
1.sing a song"hello"
 “hello”這首歌節奏很鮮明，學生也很容易學習，學生在優美的旋律中又能復習第一單元句型hello, i’m …. 再配以揮手打招呼的動作，學生會有很濃的興趣。
2. free talk
 利用第一單元已學會句型hi/ hello. what’s your name? i’m….的句型，引出新的內容。
t: hi, i’m miss tang.
what’s your name?
s: hi, miss tang. i’m ….
此時,適時引出nice to meet you.及答句nice to meet you, too.和學生以握手的動作,五六輪下來,學生就能猜出這意思了。
step 2  presentation and practice
review: (characters) liu tao, david, yang ling, mike, nancy.
t : who is he/she?
ss: he/ she is …
t: you can say “this is…”
介紹他人用“this is…”(板書)
according to this, lead in four new characters: miss li, mr green, wang bing, helen.
t: hello. /hi. i’m helen. what’s your name? 
s: i’m …
t: nice to meet you…
s: nice to meet you ,too.
step3. consolidation
1.play a game: 開火車
目的：復習以下知識點和交際用語
①hi/hello. i’m… what’s your name ?
②good morning. /good afternoon .  
③this is…  nice to meet you . nice to meet you ,too.
游戲過程：
s1：good morning. i’m… what’s your name?
s2：good morning. i’m… this is…(向s1介紹同桌)
s1：nice to meet you .
s3：nice to meet you , too.
師與一生先示范，再開始游戲。
2.listen to the tape and repeat
step 4 have a rest
say a rhyme 第一單元中的動物歌謠
bird, bird, 天上飛；
dog, dog, 汪汪汪；
cat, cat, 喵喵喵；
monkey, monkey, 最頑皮；
zebra, zebra, 黑又白；
elephant, elephant, 鼻子長；
panda, panda, 吃竹葉；
tiger, tiger, 最兇猛。
step 5 homework
1.listen to the tape and repeat
三年級學生以聽說為主，聽錄音跟讀是學生學習掌握爭正確發音有效的一種方法。
2.say“hello”to the classmates and teacher after class.
小學生很熱情，他們有一種強烈的交流欲望，能學以致用，就能體驗到成功的喜悅。
板書設計：unit 2 nice to meet you
hi/hello.    good morning.
what’s your name ?    good afternoon .
i’m…  nice to meet you .
this is…    nice to meet you, too .

教學后記：
本單元是小學生英語的起始單元，為調動學生的學習興趣，我設計了一些活動，目的是想讓學生感到學英語并不是件困難的事情，相反要十分高興的去學。通過傳話、傳遞圖片、開火車、猜、歌唱等游戲，本課取得的教學效果不錯，學生十分喜歡上英語課，學習積極性很高，雖然有部分同學仍羞于開口，害怕發錯音，說錯話，在這里，我們就要積極鼓勵鼓勵、調動這部分同學的積極性，增強他們開口說的欲望，最重要的是要給他們信心，讓他們覺得學英語不是很難的事，他們也可以和其他同學一樣做得很好，我也經常會用：“you’re good”或者 “good, good, very good.”來表揚表現好或者有進步的同學。另外，我發現堅持大量的重復和操練，能起到事半功倍的效果。
