[設計意圖:由舊知推出新知parents,比較自然生動,圈愛心的設計是很好的情感教育]
step3: 學習新詞:grandparents/uncle/aunt.
t: boys and girls, let’s play together!
 (ppt顯示play together模塊;模塊中有father/mother/sister/brother 四個頭像,每個頭像代表一個問題)
t: if you love father , please say: father, father, i love you(老師拿出上端有i love you的小拍子,去拍學生說到的那個人物,學生回答問題后,給予肯定與贊揚) 
*頭像背后的問題(每個人物都附有圖象):
father: father+ mother = parents
grandfather + grandmother = ________
  (用大小聲游戲操練單詞,把寫有grandparents的卡片貼在事先畫好的family tree上)
mother: read it: i love my father and mother, i love my parents.
sister: who’s your father/mother’s brother?
a. parents b. uncle
  (用提降音方式操練單詞,把寫有uncle的卡片貼在事先畫好的family tree上)
brother: who’s your father/mother’s sister?
a. uncle  b aunt
  (用音標方式操練單詞,把寫有aunt的卡片貼在事先畫好的family tree上)
[設計意圖:讓學生在學習單詞的同時,了解各個家庭成員間的聯系,游戲的方式令學習更為生動有趣。]
step4: 滾動操練,學習新詞family.
(1) t: what’s that?
ss: it’s a tree.
t: what’s in the family tree? let’s read it!
ss: grandfather, grandmother……
(2) game time: 看口型猜單詞。
(3) (把and貼在father和mother中間)
t: let’s read :  father and mother i love you.
ss: father and mother i love you.
t: read the red letters
ss: f-a-m-i-l-y, family
t: yes, it’s a family tree. do you love your family?
ss: yes.
t: miss yu is a magician. look at my fingers, read “i love my family” three times, i’ll do magic for you!
ss: i love my family……
(在學生讀i love my family時,老師用三筆把family tree變成一個大愛心)
t: do you like it? if you like it, please say together: hooray!
ss: hooray!
[設計意圖:通過反復的語言輸入與輸出,加深學生對單詞的認知。考察孩子們對單詞的掌握情況,同時訓練他們的觀察能力和想象能力。傳授family的同時,是情感教育的再一次升華。]
step5: 學習如何介紹家人,獲取super family的光榮稱號。
t: look, everyone is here. we’ll have a happy thanksgiving day. do you want to come and see my family?
ss: yes.
t: let’s go. (ppt播放song: come and see my family)
(操練句子:come and see my family)
t: oh, who’s she? (ppt顯示amy的頭像)
ss: amy!
t: what’s she talk about? (ppt顯示:hi, friends. come and meet my family. 讓學生舉手讀這個句子)
ss: hi, friends. come and meet my family.
t: open your book, turn to p70. let’s go and meet amy’s family.
  (listen and repeat p70)
t: welcome friends, come and meet my family. this is my grandfather, he’s thin. this is my grandmother, she’s kind. this is my father, he’s tall and strong. this is my mother, she’s beautiful. this is my sister, she’s a student. this is my baby brother, he’s little and naughty. this is my uncle, he’s fat. this is my aunt, she’s a teacher. and that’s me. i’m lovely too. oh, i have a “super family”!
