Unit1 A new student Part A period說課稿

teaching content analysis:
this lesson focuses on how to introduce classmates and teachers. the students are very open. they are always ready to make friends so they are eager to introduce themselves and others. but, it is difficult for the students to act the dialogue basis on comprehension of the dialogue, i think. the ss learned to say: our, welcome, i’m new here, welcome to our school, who’s that…?
teaching aims:
1. enable the ss to master the words by heart above and use them.
2. enable the ss to master the sentence patterns above by heart and use them.
3. improve the ss’ english comprehension ability by the way to reading, listening, speaking, writing, singing, playing and acting.
4. raise the ss’ interest of learning english and train their cooperative ability.
teaching approaches:
communicative approach and multi media cai are used in this lesson. and i will try my best to be a good helper to the ss and limit ttt, that is limit teacher talking time and increase stt (student talking time). so during this lesson, emphases are to be laid on.
1. student-cantered teaching.
2. task-based learning.
3. activity-based teaching (individual work, pair work, group work, class work)
teaching preparation:
i will teach in a computer room.
the teacher prepares tapes, a tape recorder, a multi media cai.
teaching procedures:
activity 1: sing the songclass work.
organize the students to sing the song after the tape: who’s that girl?
goal: to lead up to the topic and create an english atmosphere.
activity 2: free talk class work
design these questions: what’s your name? how old are you? what’s this/ that?
goal: to review sentences that they have learned.
b: presentation
activity1: present the sentences: i’m new here. welcome to our school.
the teacher plays 2 roles, one is miss apple, and another is miss zhang.
goal: to create a real scene and the students learn to say in an easy and free way.
activity 2: listen and answerclass work and individual work
show the following questions on the screen and then play the tape recorder.
who’s that boy? who’s that girl?
ask the students to answer the questions and then play the tape recorder again.
goal: enable the ss to master the main content.
c. practice
activity 1: listen and imitate.    individual work and class work.
goal: in order to form good pronunciation and right tones and tunes. i guide the ss to imitate the dialogue sentence by sentence.
activity 2: read group work, individual work
let the ss read in different ways.
goals: to make the ss master the dialogue better.
