《小學英語新課程標準》指出，英語課一定要根據兒童的身心特點來改革課堂教學模式，讓孩子在樂中學，在玩中學，通過表演，競賽等形式來激發他們的學習興趣。在這堂課中這種教學模式得到了充分體現。

　　這是一堂四年級的課，所講授的內容是同學們每天都要使用的學習用品。我根據四年級學生的生理、心理特點設計了這堂生動活潑的英語課，課后總結有以下幾個特點：1學生對生活中經常使用的東西比較感興趣，對單詞的掌握比較的快，但對于四年級的學生來說，還是應該組織多種教學形式，讓學生在課堂上就掌握單詞的聽說讀寫的能力，在這方面開展競賽是比較好的效果，利用多媒體教學單詞的效果也相當不錯。2學生有表演的欲望，讓學生來表演是提高他們積極性和提高他們口語能力的比較好的形式。3有效的書面練習有利于提高學生的筆試能力，對于他們的口語也有提高，但書面練習一定要，適當，適量，要有針對性。
