④ 教師拿出一張風景照，問：is there a river / lake / mountain / path? 請學生回答：yes, there is. / no, there isn’t. 教師替換其他的風景照片繼續操練。
⑤ 教師將所有的照片貼在黑板上，學生兩人一組操練。

② 教師最好能將這些詞卡中的字母組合er, or, wh用紅色筆標出，也可出示pronunciation部分的掛圖，請學生讀出這些單詞，教師注意引導學生自己在讀的過程中找出字母組合er, or, wh的發音規律。教師及時總結。
③ 教師放pronunciation部分的錄音，學生認真聽。再放一遍錄音，學生試著跟讀。
④ 教師提供一些包含字母組合er, or, wh的單詞，讓學生試著讀一讀，檢查學生字母組合發音規則的掌握情況。

3.let’s play (趣味練習)
⑴ 找一找
做“找照片”游戲：教師指定一名學生將自己的一張假日照片與其他同學的照片一起貼在黑板上。其他學生用句型 “is there a……?” 猜一猜哪一張是這名學生的照片。第一個猜出的學生可以指定下一名學生繼續游戲。
