情景會話:
新學年開始,英語老師miss liu向全班學生介紹兩位新同學:來自中國北京的10歲女孩zhou pei,和來自英國的11歲男孩bob,同學們在熱烈歡迎兩位新朋友。
教學目標
1. 行動目標:
學習如何介紹自己的姓名、年齡和所在的國家或地區。
2. 滾動項目:
we have two new friends in our class.

教具準備(teaching aids)
1.準備本課的學生卡片、教師卡片、教學掛圖、錄音磁帶和投影片。
2.準備四年級上冊第2課歌曲where are you from?和三年級下冊第8課歌曲how old are you?的磁帶。
3.自制zhou pei和bob的頭飾。
4.根據班內學生人數制作若干空“名片”。空出姓名、年齡、性別,上課時讓學生填寫。出生地一欄教師可以根據學生實際情況填寫好一些地名。教師還可以根據情況添加其他有關項目。

教學步驟
step1. 熱身 / 復習(warm-up / revision)
(1)播放四年級上冊第2課where are you from? 和三年級下冊第8課歌曲how old are you?的磁帶。
(2)讓學生齊唱以上兩首歌曲,在歡快的音樂中復習where are you from? i'm from china.how old are you? i'm seven.等表達方式,為本課教學內容的學習做好鋪墊。
step2.新課導入(presentation)
(1)展示本課的教學掛圖,讓學生觀察。
(2)教師指著掛圖,讓學生了解會話情景及會話的主要內容。以下是供教師參考的教學語言(學生回答略):
where is this? can you guess? (教師指著整幅場景圖)
yes, it's in a classroom.
this is miss liu, the english teacher.(指著miss liu)
look at this boy.(指著bob)
his name is bob.bob is a fat boy.
what colour is his hair?
yes, it's yellow.
and look at this girl.(指著zhou pei)
her name is zhou pei.
zhou pei has big eyes.
her hair is long.what colour is her hair?
yes, it's black.
zhou pei and bob are our new friends.
where are they from? can you guess?
(3)引導學生通過頭發顏色等外部特征猜測zhou pei和bob可能來自什么地方。最后教師告訴學生答案:
zhou pei is from beijing.she is a chinese girl.
bob is from britain.he is an english boy.(板書britain并解釋其詞義)
(4)提出問題:
how old is zhou pei? how old is bob? do you know?
listen to the tape and try to find the answer.
(5)播放錄音,讓學生聽后回答問題,可以根據情況多放幾遍錄音。
(6)選幾個學生回答問題,教師應耐心引導并給以鼓勵。
(7)再播放錄音,讓學生核對以上問題的答案。
step 3.趣味操練(practice)
(1)教師拿出事先準備好的“名片”,讓每個學生抽得一份。教師指導學生填寫自己的姓名、年齡、性別,然后記住各自“名片”上的出生地。最后向全班同學做自我介紹。以下教學語言可供教師參考:
