能力目標：通過活動體驗，在交流中學會談論上周末從事的活動，談論不久前發生的事情，發展綜合語言運用能力。
情感目標 ：學生學習的興趣，鼓勵學生積極合作，引導學生了解在名勝古跡可以做的事情。
教學重點 使學生能聽說，認讀單詞postcard, hour能準確理解并熟練運用what did you do at the weekend? where did you go?  where/how/when/what did…?
教學難點 ①在真實情景中靈活運用新知識描述過去發生的事情。②不規則動詞的過去式。

教學過程
step 1 warmer
1、greeting
2、game:學生表演自己上周末的活動，全班通過猜其活動來復習一般過去時的表達。
t：what did she/he do last weekend?
s: she watched tv.
(設計意圖：復習過去式，  讓學生利用過去時態描述自己上周末的活動。為本單元的學習做下鋪墊。)
3、學唱歌曲“where did you go？“并學習語音部分  ，感知發音。體會字母組合在單詞里的發音規則。
（設計意圖：歌曲學習放在這個環節可以讓學生更好的理解where did you go？之后讓學生感知字母組合的發音規律，可以為單詞的學習降低難度。）
step2 lead in
1、  導入：教師準備一些名勝古跡的圖片與旅游時所照的照片，通過描述讓學生猜是哪個地方。
egt：it’s very long and old. it’s in beijing. where is it?
ss：the great wall.
2、free task——談論旅游經歷
t：“there are many places of interest in china, where did you go?”
ss：i went to …it’s big and wonderful.
同桌互相介紹曾去過的名勝古跡或城市。
3、任務呈現
t：“did you have a good time on your trip?”大明和他的爸爸周末時去旅游了，讓我們聽一下他們去了哪里？
step3 課文學習
1、播放課文動畫
t：daming and his father had a good weekend. where did they go?let’s go and see.
播放課文，老師進行指導，請學生根據課文完成課文活動2的問題。
2、教師分段播放錄音，請學生回答問題，解讀課文難點。
q1: who went to the great wall?
a: daming and his father.
q2: when did they go?
a: they arrived there at ten o’clock in the morning.
q3: how did they go?
a: they went there by bus.
q4: what did daming do?
a: he took a photo of his father.
2、  教師再次播放錄音，請學生跟讀，教師給予適當的指導。
（設計意圖：聽課文，理解課文大意；回答問題，讓學生能夠更好的理解課文內容。）
3、請學生根據自己的理解復述課文，提醒學生注意語音語調。
step4 practise
1、pair work 同桌合作用問答形式完成課文活動3，并根據問題介紹自己上周末的活動。
2、group work
學生四人一組展開活動。學生a、b、c分別在卡片上寫出地點、交通方式、做了什么事。學生d根據學生a、b、c的卡片造句。由于學生寫的內容互不關聯，可能會產生有趣的句子。最后小組展示，看看哪一小組的句子最有趣。
