　　學校五星中心小學班級五(1)學科英語課題unit 4 halloween教時1日期2007.10一、教學目標：

　　1.通過看圖讓學生能聽得懂、會說、會讀單詞有關萬圣節的詞匯： halloween, pumpkin, mask, lantern, pig vase, family, thing, tomorrow. 2. 能聽得懂、會說、會讀和會寫句型do you like..? 及回答yes, i do. / no, i don't. i like...及 what do we need? we need …能夠用所學內容表述萬圣節所看到的事物、需要的東西，并與同伴交流自己的愛好、愿望等。3.通過看圖片、簡介等形式讓學生感受節日氛圍，初步感知國外兒童在萬圣節開展的活動，了解西方人過萬圣節的一些風俗習慣，激發學生對異國文化的興趣，了解文化差異，增強文化意識。4.通過開展小組活動培養學生合作學習精神，在活動中培養學生的聽、說能力，體驗英語學習的快樂。二、制定依據：1.教材分析本課內容是《牛津小學英語》5a中的unit 4 halloween。本單元的核心內容是萬圣節晚會的準備工作，根據我對萬圣節的了解,我覺得僅靠教材上的內容,學生并不能對西方的萬圣節有真正的了解,所以對教材內容還需要進行適當的補充和拓展。讓學生有感性的認識，補充了一些與萬圣節密切相關的詞匯，希望通過這節課的學習，使學生對萬圣節有更多的了解，并能用英語交流相關信息。重點學習do you like ……? yes , i do . / no , i don’t . i like ……what do we need? we need …等句子。在3b中已經出現do you like swimming ? yes , i do . / no , i don’t . what do you like ? 句型。4a中也要求學生初步感知do you like puppets? yes , i do . / no , i don’t . what do you like ? 句型。本單元關于萬圣節的詞句都是第一次出現，如halloween, pumpkin, what do we need? we need…等。 2.學生分析本班學生除個別學生在課外學習英語，大部分學生的英語學習依靠學校英語課。2-3位學生在英語學習方面有畏難情緒。本課是學生初次在教材上接觸到有關節日的話題，關于西方國家的節日學生們可能平時也會看到、聽到一些相關的信息，但只了解一些零碎的知識。在課前我先了解了學生們的需求，他們希望通過英語課的學習，自己也能用英語說一些有關萬圣節的知識�？紤]到萬圣節的文化背景很復雜，用英語解釋恐怕學生們也難以理解，所以我在課前引導學生看書或上網了解了萬圣節的一些知識，在此基礎上再到英語課上學習、交流相關內容。學生在3b中已經會口頭表達do you like swimming ? yes , i do . / no , i don’t . what do you like ? 句型。4a中也初步感知do you like puppets/ that puppet? yes , i do . / no , i don’t . what do you like ? 句型。已學過的一些小動物，如：tiger, cat, dog, zebra, panda等。其實對本課的新詞pig學生也已有耳聞。 本單元關于萬圣節的詞句對于學生都很陌生，如halloween, pumpkin, what do we need? we need…等。教   學   過   程時間教學環節教 師 活 動學 生 活 動設計意圖    5          step1.pre-task preparation

　　2. show the pumpkin lantern and the origin of the pumpkin lantern.    3.show the animal masks. ask the students:do you like masks/ pumpkin lanterns…?  4. show a chant.5.suggestion: let’s buy things for a halloween party. 6. ask: what do we need for halloween?   1. say something about halloween in chinese. eg: the origin, the game  and the food of halloween.2. learn the new words:pumpkin & lantern.look at the picture and listen to the origin of the pumpkin lantern.3. learn the new words: mask, piglearn the drill: do you like …? yes, i do. /no, i can’t.practice in pairs.4. learn the chant. 5. learn the phrase: buy things for… 6. learn the drill: what do we need for halloween?we need…learn: vasediscuss in pairs. 在教課的“呈現”階段，就向學生們介紹了“萬圣節”的習俗，點明了主題，所有的單詞、句型教學圍繞這個主題情景展開。讓學生看圖學詞并運用新句型自主問答，調動他們的知識儲備，擴展他們的知識面。                        15        step 3. consolidation1. make a model with the students to discuss the preparation for halloween.2. show the picture of part a and ask some questions about the picture. 3. ask the students to listen to the tape.      4. show a short dialogue.ask the students to fill in the blanks.   1. talk sth. about halloween.  2. try to say sth. about the picture. learn the new word: family.3. listen and answer: what do they need? what does ron want to buy? does ben like masks?what else do they want to buy? 4. fill in the blanks according to part a.    1.為了使學生能將新的知識學以致用，請他們模仿對話內容，組織情景表演，讓學生在情景中學習英語，感受英語。2. 引導學生看圖回答問題，聽導言和第一部分對話內容，然后讓學生根據錄音，回答問題。鍛煉學生的聽、說技能。3. 引導學生自讀對話內容，完成練習紙上的內容，鍛煉學生的讀、寫技能。課后反思：1.本課的教學內容是五年級第四單元的第一課時，本單元的課題是halloween，但教材上實際涉及到的情景和內容卻很有限，不能讓學生對halloween這個西方國家的節日有真正的了解，所以根據我對halloween的了解，讓學生們通過這節課的學習，對halloween有整體的感知和了解，因為學習英語離不開對英語國家的文化的了解。當然，通過上網、閱讀課外書等途徑，學生們對英語國家的文化習俗等也能有所了解，如何突出英語課的特點，這是我在課前花了很長時間思考的問題。我覺得通過這節課的學習，不僅要讓學生對halloween有較為全面的了解，更要讓學生融入一種氛圍中，有參與、體驗的學習活動，讓語言學習和文化學習并行。2.文化課要搞清楚文化與語言的關系。英語課中的文化課要體現出語言與文化的結合點，更多關注語言，不能百分百地關注文化或語言。這節課呈現的新詞很多，積極詞匯和消極詞匯要區分，哪些是只要了解的，哪些是要掌握的，要有明確要求。3.如何教文化知識，是不是因為是文化課，就只能學生聽老師說，學生被老師牽著走？這節課學生的思維不活躍，就是因為老師的問題沒有開放，有的開放了，但只是一種形式，并沒有讓學生自主思考與表達。4.自主學習體現在哪兒，不是小組學習都是合作學習，讓學生教單詞這種形式并不好，因為有的單詞請上去教的學生自己也不會�？偟膩碚f，我感覺這節課在情景創設方面能利用多媒體為教學服務，但因此教學也受到牽制，學生自主學習的機會不是很多，但自己也感覺找不到更好的方法，所以希望通過專家的指點能讓自己的思路更開闊些。

　　二、 教學目標：

　　1、 讓學生通過收集資料和本課活動，了解萬圣節的有關情況。

　　2、 通過介紹風俗，學習單詞pumpkin lantern，candle，mask，pig，if，能聽懂、會讀、會說這些單詞。

　　三、 教學重點：

　　讓學生通過這節課的活動了解有關萬圣節的傳說、風俗，為下節課的教授對話作鋪墊。

　　四、 教學難點：

　　能聽、說、讀單詞pumpkin lantern，candle，mask，pig，if。

　　五、 課前準備：

　　1、 教學準備：讓學生課前收集萬圣節的資料，每人做一個面        具。

　　2、 教具準備：錄音機、磁帶、準備幾個面具（、老虎、狗）

　　3、 板書準備：在黑板上預先寫好課題halloween

　　關于萬圣節的由來，傳說最多的版本認為，那是源自于基督誕生前的古西歐國家，主要包括愛爾蘭、蘇格蘭和威爾士。這幾處的古西歐人叫德魯依特人。德魯依特的新年在十一月一日，新年前夜，德魯依特人讓年輕人集合，戴著各種怪異面具，拎著刻好的蘿卜燈（南瓜燈系后期習俗，古西歐最早沒有南瓜），他們游走于村落間。這在當時實則為一種秋收的慶典，也有說是“鬼節”，傳說是當年死去的人，靈魂會在萬圣節的前夜造訪人世，據說人們應該讓造訪的靈魂看到圓滿的收成并對鬼魂呈現出豐盛的款待。所以篝火及燈火，一來為了嚇走靈魂，同時也為鬼魂照亮路線，引導其回歸。

　　至于南瓜燈也至少有兩種說法。一種說是人挖空了南瓜又刻上鬼臉，點上燭火以驅散鬼魂的；另一種說是鬼魂點上燭火，試圖騙取人們上當而跟著鬼魂走，所以人們就在南瓜表面上刻上一個嘲諷的臉面，用以嘲笑鬼魂：哼！傻瓜才會上你的當!傳說因為首先用南瓜的是一位愛爾蘭人jack，所以人們又將鬼臉南瓜燈叫做jack-o-lantern.
