3.能力發展目標:
1)能夠在聽、說、讀、寫等語言綜合時間活動中運用本單元所學的重點詞匯、句型與語法。
2)在學習中提高交流和傳遞信息的能力,在寫作中正確運動連詞使文章更連貫和流暢。
3)通過知道學生在模擬交際中運用所學的知識,培養學生探究學習、合作學習、自主學習的能力。
四、 單元教學重點
1. 學生熟練掌握重點詞匯45個,短語10個。
2. 指導學生利用所學句型正確表達思想、進行交際活動。
3. 知道學生理解并掌握the past continuous tense。
五、 單元教學難點
1.通過形式多樣的課堂活動,幫助學生完成閱讀理解、聽力理解、寫作訓練等學習任務。
2.引導學生積極主動地探究學習,發現語法規律,總結出the past continuous tense 的構成和在交際中的用法。
六、教學策略
1、在教學中,創設情景,幫助學生理解the past continuous tense的結構與用法。
2.結合身邊的例子,拉近學生與success and successful people 的距離,幫助他們更好地理解課文。
七、媒體的選擇與設計
1、充分利用和發揮基本的教學媒體,如課本、掛圖、教師的身體語言、板書的作用。
2、適時、合理地使用計算機多媒體,增大課堂的容量,更好地輔助課堂教學。
八、各課時的教學內容及安排
第一課時:
一、 定位input-based,閱讀理解為主。
二、 教學目標
1. 通過多種形式的閱讀活動與任務,幫助學生理解課文。
2. 指知道學生運用一定的閱讀理解學習策略,培養一些閱讀微技能,如:尋讀,找出關鍵信息等;掃讀,獲取文章大意;通過構詞法或上下文猜測生詞大意;推斷等。
三、 教學環節設計:
1. leading-in
cartoon talk. show the cartoon picture of unit 1 .
2. pre-reading
ask ss if they would rather be rich or famous? get the ss to talk about ways of being successful. then show the picture on page2. present sentence, award, success, strict, forever, encourage, support, prodigy, pianist, stunning, performance, orchestra, talent. tell ss that ‘was watching’ means the past continuous tense, it means“過去某時正在做……”in chinese. but we’ll learn more about it later in language.
3. while-reading
1) fast reading: ss read the passage as fast as they can and try to find out the answers to a1.
2) read it again and check the answers to a1.
3) reading for details and try to fill in the blanks in a3
① ss discuss in pairs and finish a3.
② check the answers with the class.
4. learning
1) learn or review some useful expressions in the passage: on television, at the age of, at a price, be strict with, fall ill, in place of, be grateful to (somebody for something)
2) guide the ss to learn and use them in their own speaking and writing.
5. post-reading
1) answer the questions in a4 according to the passage. (to consolidate the students’ understanding on the passage.)
