二、 教學目標
1. 引導學生歸納總結如何提出、接受或拒絕幫助。
2. 引導學生學會描述不同類型成功人士和其所需具備的素養。
3. 培養學生概括能力;培養學生運用語言進行交際的能力。
三、 教學環節設計
1. revision
check the homework exercises. have ss tell their partners what they and their family were doing at 9:00 last saturday/yesterday.
2. speaking(i)
1) let ss look at a picture and ask ss to make up the missing words for the conversation between the characters. stimulate their original knowledge of offering help and accepting help.
2) ask the students to read aloud the conversation in a1 and answer the questions.
3) have ss fill in the blanks of the dialogue in a2 and try to make a new dialogue.
4) present some dialogues in front of the class.
5) have some ss sum up the phrases/expressions of offering help accpting and refusing help

3. speaking(ii)
1) describe one of the successful people that ss is familiar with and have ss guess who the teacher mentions.
2) tell ss when we describe a successful person, we can say something about what makes him/her successful. have them brainstorm some words/phrases we use. get ss to learn the useful sentence patterns and useful adjectives.
3) have ss try to make a new dialogue imitating the example dialogue. present some dialogues.
4) have ss describe a successful person to their partners and ask them to guess who it is.
4. homework
1) star show-偶像秀 運用課中學到的描述成功人士的語句,描述你心目中的一位成功人士,在下節課上展示。
2) finish the relevant exercises in the exercise books.
3) look up some new words and expressions elected from more practice.
第六課時
一、 定位:本課時part a為泛度,part b為任務閱讀。
二、 教學目標:
1、 通過聽力與閱讀訓練,增加與本單元內容相關的閱讀材料,幫助學生了解更多與該話題有關的信息。
2、 進一步引導學生探究如何獲得成功。讓學生明白做好自己的事情,努力學習、工作,付出比常人更多的努力,以及善于捕捉機會,才能實現自己的理想和抱負。
