教學目標 1.學會描述兩張照片所反映的同一地區過去和現在的不同情況。

重難點分析 教會學生如何安排語言材料構成文章。
學情分析 學生如何去描述一個地區的變化還有些茫然,所以要教給他們寫作的結構,再加上他們已有的表達法,就可以形成一篇比較好的習作。

step2: presentation
show two pictures of changes to moonlight town. let’s go through part a1 and get the students to talk about them.
step3: part a2
amy wants to write an article about the changes. let’s go through the table in part a2.
in this way, the students can get some idea about what amy saw, what she heard and how she felt. get the students to read the phrases one by one.
step4: completing the sample article
give the students 4-5 minutes to complete the sample article on page 22, part a3. and then check the answers to it. get the students to figure out the structure of the article.
ask them to work in pairs to find out the main idea of each paragraph.
step5: work out the structure
analysis the structure of the passage and work out the structure about how to write a report about the changes.
step6: discuss what to write
go through the sentences listed on page 22, part b and make sure that the students can get more ideas about what to write about here.
step7: writing
give the students 3-4 minutes for them to decide which changes to write about. walk around to help the students to organize their ideas and get more ideas. tell the students to write about their own experience because this may give their article power.
