序數詞：序數詞的構成有一定的規律性，應把序數詞和基數詞進行對比后，總結出其內在的規律，再進行記憶是非常有效的。一般的情況下，序數詞是在基數的 詞尾加 -th ，但有的發生了一點變化，請參考下表：

個性練習設計
自制英文日歷：每個家庭都有日歷，但這些日歷都是漢語寫的，如果讓學生制作一個英文日歷，不僅可以讓學生學會用英語表達日期，并總結、記憶從第一到第三十一的序數詞的英文表達。為了減小學會的工作量，可以讓學生制作自己生日所在月份或家人所在月份的日歷，并且要標出自己的生日及家人的生日。
教學探討與反思
本單元主要學習名詞所有格 ('s 所有格 ) 的構成和使用。在初次接觸 “ 名詞所有格 ” 時，學生較難理解的可能是 “ 所有格 ” 這個名稱，對于它的構成，學生也許會覺得較容易。教師可通俗地告訴學生 “ 所有格 ” 的意思是表示 “…… 的 ” ，這樣學生反而容易接受。在使用 “ 名詞所有格 ” 形式時，學生容易犯錯誤或混淆的主要是：將這種一 's 構成形式與 is 的縮寫形式混淆，如： my father's name's jin zhi .，可以這樣告訴學生：名詞所有格的后面一般應接名詞；勿將這種一 's 結構盲目套用與人稱代詞上，代替物主代詞使用，如 he's father's name is li cheng 。在教學初期，可不講授名詞所有格的其它形式，待時機成熟，再向學生介紹復數名詞所有格形式的結構一 ' ，如： the students' bikes 。
