step 1: revision
have a competition to review the phrases about our school activities. ask one to come to the front and do actions, the others must write down phrases according to his actions, the one who writes the most will get a small present.
step2: learning
1. look at the diagram with faces. please say something
such as:
millie likes sth./doing sth..
millie loves sth/doing sth very much/a lot.
millie dislikes sth./doing sth. at all.
2. read the diagram with ss together and then ask them to say why millie likes/loves/dislikes (doing) sth. one by one.
step3:practice
1. ask ss to draw faces according to the chart that they have completed.
2. let ss work in pairs to talk about their likes, dislikes and the reason. then ask several students to tell us another one’s likes/dislikes using:
my classmate, ×likes …, she/he loves…very much/a lot, but he/she dislikes…at all.
3. fill in the blanks, talk about it in fours, then write down the answers, and especially pay attention to the reasons.
