1.preparation準備活動
(1)enjoy a song "little water drop"來熱身。
(2)復習a let's learn部分的單詞卡片,讓學生認讀,競賽拼寫,等拼到rain時 ,師用句型問where does the rain come from? 引導學生用it comes from the clouds.來回答。讓生照例子這樣練習。
2.presentation呈現新知
(1)let's try
用已學句型問生:“what do you have for breakfast?'’請學生回答。教師說:“i usually have bread and milk for breakfast.do you like bread? where does bread come from?”導入let's try,先看圖畫,師解說后聽錄音標號,因為內容多,詞匯量大。建議教師多放幾遍錄音,適時給學生以提示。
(2)練習主句型where does the rain come from? it comes from the clouds.
教師利用let’s try部分引出主句型:where does bread/flour come from? it comes from flour/wheat教師板書該句型:where does...come from? it comes from ....帶讀這句型。同時可以讓學生把主句型跟隨教師書空,在突破這一重難點時,教師可以采用學生熟悉的果汁來提問,如:“where does apple/milk /orange juice come from?”“ it comes from....采用師對生,生對生,男生對女生的的方式替換rain,cloud,vapour等。達到從機械操練到意義操練。
(3)教讀難點句子the sun shines and the water becomes vapour.
how can the water become vapour? the sun shines and the water becomes vapour.師可解說the sun shines and the water becomes vapour并分開領讀,讓學生充分練習說該句型,達到突破難點的目的。
3.practice鞏固練習
師領讀對話,然后聽音正音,在小組內分角色朗讀對話,最后表演展示。
4.production輸出運用
(1)group work
學生分小組對水循環的過程進行問答練習,然后教師請每個小組選一名代表上臺,敘述水循環的簡單過程。
(2)task time
制作精美的圖畫,描述水循環的過程,做表述時可參考語言:today i'll tell you the story of rain.where does the rain come from? it comes from the clouds.the cloud comes from the vapour.and the vapour comes from the water.the sun shines,the water becomes hot and then becomes the vapour.

(1) let’s chant(p68),學生跟錄音有節奏地說唱。
(2) 出示a let's learn的單詞卡片來拼讀,然后是日常口語練習:where does the cloud come from? how does the water become vapour?
2.pre-reading閱讀前活動
設計情景會話,滲透新語言,降低閱讀難度。教師準備小水滴和風的頭飾,說:hello.i am little water drop. hello.i am m r wind.教師做出很熱的動作說:little water drop is very hot.it may be cooler up in the sky , he thinks. he goes up. he meets m r wind.師可解釋cooler是比較級,goes up上升。
