(2)教師示范種花的過程并用英語描述。接著教師把黑板上的單詞卡弄亂,根據教師的描述讓一名學生重新排序,后再讓學生在小組內練習并描述花的成長過程,最后讓各個小組匯報他們各自的種子是如何生長的。敘述種花的過程是本課時的難點,建議教師由易到難引導學生完成,達到逐步突破難點。

1.preparation準備活動
(1)enjoy a song "little water drop"來熱身。
(2)復習b let's learn部分的單詞
2.presentation呈現新知
(1)let's try
教師讓學生看著插圖進行描述,如:the girl is putting the seeds in the soil.she is looking at the sprout. she is watering the seeds.教師放錄音,指導學生完成let's try部分練習。
(2)教讀in several days
教師對let's try描述花的種植過程中in several days進行練習。
(3)練習主句型how do you do that? what should you do then?.
教師說:“i am going to plant a flower on the weekend.but i don’t know how to do that.can you tell me? who knows?”教師提示學生可以適當用中文解釋。假如有學生舉手,教師就問:“ok.how do you do that?”引導學生回答。“first,put the seeds in the soil.”然后,教師接著說:“what should you do then? 引導學生回答“water it.教師同時板書,讓生書空,師領讀——全班讀——小組讀——個人讀——同桌讀等方式,到教師讓學生用其它種子進行練習。達到從機械操練到意義操練。
3.practice鞏固練習
(1)聽錄音答題,教師說:“zhang peng is talking to his teacher.now let's see what they are talking about.”在解答完問題之后,聽音正音,在小組內分角色朗讀對話,最后表演展示。
(2)同桌進行對話替換練習,可談論小麥(wheat)、西瓜(watermelon)等植物的種植過程。然后選幾組班上表演展示。
4.production輸出運用
(1)let's play
教師安排學生在小組內討論怎樣種樹,最后小組長匯報。到本節課的主句型及表示先后的單詞first,then等。
(2)教師指導學生運用主句型編新對話,先互相說說,然后寫下來。如:
a::how do you clean the classroom?
b:first,sweep the floor.
a:what should you do after that?
b:then clean the desks and chairs,
……

(2)課后布置同學在校園或家里種提棵樹,把種植的過程寫下來,下節課講給同桌聽。

本文是四篇植物日記,讓學生通過閱讀植物日記進一步熟悉掌握植物生長過程的敘述。
1.preparation準備活動
(1)利用圖卡、詞卡復習b部分的詞匯。
(2)let's chant, 學生跟錄音有節奏地說唱。

how do you plant a tree\flower?
