2 能運(yùn)用所學(xué)的形容詞比較級對事物進(jìn)行比較。

step 2 presentation
1 t: it is the first day of the new term. i found some of you are getting taller.
s1, would you please stand up?
s1: yes.
t: oh, dear! you are taller than me. but i am taller than her.
teach: tall, taller
t: look, she is shorter than me.
teach: short, shorter
2 t: s2, show me your hands, please. oh, your hands are smaller than mine. but, look! his hands are bigger than mine.
teach: small, smaller big, bigger
3 t: how old are you?
s1: i am thirteen.
t: and you?
s2: i am twelve.
t: so you are younger than her. she is older than you. but you’re stronger.
teach: young, younger old, older strong, stronger
4 t: (show two rulers.) look, this ruler is longer than that one.
teach: long, longer
5 show some pictures and compare them.
teach: fat, fatter thin, thinner heavy, heavier light, lighter (add)
6 listen to the tape and read the words.
7 小結(jié)形容詞比較級的規(guī)律
1) 單音節(jié)詞末尾加-er, 如: taller, older, longer
2) 單音節(jié)詞如果以-e結(jié)尾,只加-r.
3) 閉音節(jié)單詞如末尾只有一個輔音字母,須雙寫這個字母,再加-er, 如bigger, thinner.
4) 少數(shù)以-y結(jié)尾的詞,如果-y前是輔音字母,則變y為i,再加-er,如heavier.

1 t: look at the pictures of part b, then use the new words, compare them.
e.g. picture 3: the man is taller than the woman.
2 ask the students to make the sentences like that.
step 4 作業(yè)布置
1 copy the words in part b.
2 make the sentences like “ be動詞

課前思考:本單元的主要話題是兩種事物的比較,新授了形容詞的比較級。在以前的學(xué)習(xí)中,學(xué)生已經(jīng)接觸了good-better,many/much-more,而本課學(xué)習(xí)的是形容詞比較級的規(guī)則變化。在b部分所教的11組詞中,有四組是想對應(yīng)的,所以在課上可以將它們分成兩個板塊,也可以根據(jù)它們變化的形式來分,便于學(xué)生的記憶。在教授單詞的過程中可以結(jié)合句型,本課我選取了c部分中的句型1,內(nèi)容不宜太多太難,應(yīng)該循序漸進(jìn)。
課后反思:由于課上時間有限,所以將句型1放到了下節(jié)課。本課新授了11組比較級,除了strong, young, heavy以外的單詞原形學(xué)生都學(xué)過,所以難度不大。我根據(jù)單詞的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系板書,然后讓學(xué)生總結(jié)形容詞變比較級的規(guī)律,讓學(xué)生自己發(fā)現(xiàn)應(yīng)該比由老師總結(jié)效果要好。在教授單詞的過程中,我結(jié)合than,讓學(xué)生組句子,來描述一些事物。這個句型即who's ... than ...?的陳述句形式。經(jīng)過一堂課的學(xué)習(xí)和操練,大多數(shù)學(xué)生知道了比較級的用法,但還需更多的練習(xí)以達(dá)到熟練掌握。
