How tall are you? 第三課時教案示例
教學參考時間：6—7 分鐘
1.教師引出課文中的對話：one day, ben and his father went to the zoo. look, ben is watching monkeys at a zoo with his father now. what are the monkeys like? which monkey does ben like? let’s read the dialogue.
2.教師讓學生兩人一組閱讀對話，回答上述問題。教師必要時提供幫助，解惑答疑。
3.教師播放錄音，學生回答教師的提問：what are the monkeys like? which monkey does ben like?
4.教師再次播放錄音，學生跟讀。
5.學生自己完成填充句子練習，教師請四名學生將答案寫在黑板上。

活動七：對話展示
教學參考時間：2—3 分鐘
1.教師讓學生四人一組，練習對話內容。
2.教師讓學生到講臺前表演對話內容，根據時間情況表演3—4組。
活動八：語音知識
教學參考時間：4—5 分鐘
1.教師出示本部分的教學掛圖并播放錄音，第一遍學生靜聽。
2.教師第二遍播放錄音，讓學生跟讀。教師有意識地在字母或字母組合ai, ay, oi, oy 等下面畫線，讓學生自己總結該字母或字母組合在單詞中的發音，幫助學生理解：不同的元音字母與字母組合可以發相同的音。
3.接下來教師帶領學生從左到右、從上到下的讀例詞，了解元音字母、字母組合以及輔音字母在單詞中的發音。
4.教師讓學生看read and match 部分的練習，先請一名學生在掛圖上連線做示范，請其他學生仔細看圖，辨認詞形、試讀音標，然后連線。最后學生集體核對答案。
活動九：小組活動
教學參考時間：4—5 分鐘
1)教師讓學生看教材第6頁pair work部分的內容，讓學生做本部分的交際活動。
2)學生拿出一張準備好的自己與好友的蠟筆圖畫，對同桌的同學說說this is me. that is my friend. she is 8 years old. she is 2 years older than me, and she’s taller. she has long hair and big eyes ….
3)讓學生寫寫自己伙伴朋友的情況。

活動十：練一練
教學參考時間：3—4 分鐘
1)教師讓學生打開活動手冊第3頁。
2)讓學生自己看read and write 部分的閱讀練習。
3)教師帶領學生朗讀本部分的內容。
4)學生自己完成finish the sentences部分的練習。
5)教師訂正練習題的答案。
活動十一：知識小結
教學參考時間：1—2 分鐘
1)音標/ei/, /ai/, /эi/，/p/, /b/, /t/, /d/
2)認讀句子：i think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall. the monkey is shorter but you are funnier.
