一.教學目標與要求：
1. 進一步鞏固和運用本單元的詞匯和句型。
2. 引導學生完成e部分read and write，以這篇文章為例，培養學生英語寫作的能力。
3. 通過朗讀歸納oo在單詞中的短音。
二.教學重難點分析：
本課時的重點是e部分的內容，這部分是課文的補充和提高，是培養學生英文寫作的環節。教師可先通過討論圖片的方式讓學生熟悉每一幅圖的內容，引導他們用自己的語言組織描述，然后再進行下一步的教學。英文寫作也是本課的難點，教師應鼓勵學生自己總結歸納寫日記的格式，在學生歸納的基礎上加以總結提高。語音部分也是本課的重點，教師可以在舉例詞的基礎上引導學生朗讀體會并總結發音，通過韻句的誦讀，將含有oo短音的單詞熟記在心。

1) 教師出示單詞：book, football, good, look，引導學生輕輕地朗讀，并嘗試歸納oo的發音。
2）教師引導學生說出已經學過的oo發短音的單詞：classroom, bedroom, foot等。
3）學生念誦書上小詩，并開展小組間的誦讀比賽。

2）小組四人，每人拿出準備好的日常用品的圖，一人先介紹：this hairdryer is mine. this … is yours. this … is his. this … is hers. 然后將圖片順時針傳遞，聽音樂停下，換一位同學介紹：this … is mine. this .. is yours. this … is his. this … is hers.
3) 教師讓學生在圖片后寫好名字，將圖片集中在組長處，由組長主持小組內進行失物招領：whose is this …? is it yours, …? no, it isn’t. oh, it’s …’s. it’s his/hers.
