一、教學重點：學生能夠聽、說、認讀let’s read部分的短文，并能回答短文后的問題。
二、教學難點：準確理解短文中描述球賽精彩場景的語句。
三、課前準備：資源中心的相關媒體素材。
let’s read b，story time部分的錄音。
各種臉部表情的圖片。
一個足球。
四、教學過程：
1、warm up(熱身)
活動一： talk in pairs
教學參考時間：3-4分鐘
呈現教材p20 let’s talk部分插圖，找幾組學生分角色朗讀。
提供語言材料，學生自編對話：
happy / have got an interesting book sad / mother is sick
tired /the trip is hardexcited / go out for a picnic
bored / have much homework angry / lost the money
活動二look and say
教學參考時間：3分鐘
教師準備一些畫有臉部表情的圖片，請一些學生抽取，抽完后出示給全班。
學生集體問：how do you feel? 該生根據圖中的表情回答：i’m ….并說明自己產生這種表情的原因。
2、presentation(呈現新知)
活動三look and say
教學參考時間：5分鐘
教師出示一個足球實物，請學生說一說這是什么。學生回答：this is a football.
教師啟發學生說一說自己知道哪些關于踢足球的短語，拿出足球，請幾個學生做傳球踢球的動作，請知道的學生根據動作說一說自己知道的指令，如：pass the ball to …!…, kick the ball, please!
教師再出示球星貝克漢姆正在踢球的一張圖片或一段錄像，學生對該足球運動員應該很熟悉，教師問：“what is he doing?”，學生回答：he is playing football.
活動四 let’s read
教學參考時間：5分鐘
教師接著說：it’s saturday morning. the weather is fine. there is a football match between class 1 and class 3. 呈現短語：between … and …以及三個人物并排站著的圖像，教師指著班上的三名挨著坐的學生說：… is between … and …. 然后請學生用該短語說說自己所處的位置。
教師說：what do the boys do in this match? how do they feel? let’s read. 學生自己閱讀短文。
提問：文中的動詞pass, kick, fly, bounce有什么共同的變化？啟發學生觀察has, passes, kicks, flies, bounces前面的主語有什么共同點，引導學生復習一般現在時的第三人稱單數動詞的特殊變換。
師生針對短文進行問答練習：
t: who passes the ball to mike?
s: john.
t: who got the first ball?
s: mike.
t: who kicks the ball to john’s face?
s: zhang peng.
t: how do they get the second ball?
s: the ball bounces john’s head and flies into the gate.
t: which class wins the game?
s: class 1.
(5)教師播放課件或錄音，學生跟讀短文。教師重點提示學生注意關于心情描述的語句。
活動五 answer the questions
教學參考時間：3-4分鐘
請學生自己再次默讀短文并劃出表示心情的單詞。
寫出三個問題的答案：
they are excited.
he is angry.
they are not sad.
與同桌談論、交流答案；師生共同和對答案。
3、let’s play(趣味操練)
活動六 play football
教學參考時間：5分鐘
教師發指令，學生利用足球做相應動作：catch the ball. / pass the ball to … / kick the ball to the door. / bounce the ball 10 times.
