教學目標：
1、正確理解和聽懂grand theatre中的語言材料。
2、會在情景中運用句型：what’s for …?
3、根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容回答questions and answers中的問題，并根據(jù)實際情況回答on your own 中的問題。
4、讓學生初步了解有關茶的文化，在學習過程中體驗和了解中、西文化的差異。

設計意圖：活躍課堂氣氛，為學習英語創(chuàng)設良好的學習氛圍。
task 2
learn: what’s for tea?
1、watch a video.
2、（出示tommy一家喝下午茶的圖片，指著茶點）t: what’s for tea?
3、practice: what’s for tea? (work in pairs)
4、拓展句型：what’s for breakfast/lunch/dinner?
5、practice: what’s for breakfast/lunch/dinner? ( 在小組中做調(diào)查)
設計意圖：播放一段人們喝下午茶的錄象。讓學生對tea time 有初步的了解。通過在小組中調(diào)查一日三餐吃什么，鞏固操練主句型，在任務中學以致用。
task 3

1、用一碗面條引出: what smells so good?
2、read the sentence.
3、play a game. what smells so good?
設計意圖：做猜一猜what smells so good?游戲時，讓全班學生問蒙住眼睛的學生：what smells so good?這樣不斷地提問中鞏固操練該句型。
task 4make tea
1、教師給學生演示泡茶，引出make tea.
2、出示課文中媽媽在泡茶的圖片，引出句子：mum is making tea for us.
3、替換操練:_____is making tea for us.(利用人物圖片)
設計意圖：通過教師的演示，幫助學生理解make tea的含義，同時讓學生了解一些中國的茶文化。
