本單元的核心教學(xué)內(nèi)容是“詢問別人情況”。本單元結(jié)合句型what’s the matter ?i’m …集中教學(xué)表示感覺的形容詞tired ,ill,hot ,cold ,hungry 和thirsty .在本單元還出現(xiàn)了日常交際用語come and have supper … good evening .you look …why don’t you go to bed now ?what a nice …!在教學(xué)過程中教師注意多創(chuàng)設(shè)情景，讓學(xué)生在語言情景中理解和操練，力求做到運用自如。此外，在教學(xué)感受的形容詞時，教師要充分利用表情和動作，讓學(xué)生去理解接受，并通過表演去鞏固運用。
教學(xué)目的：
1.能聽得懂、會說、會讀和會拼寫單詞hot ,cold ,ill ,tired ,hungry ,thirsty .
2.聽得懂、會說、會讀和會寫句子what’s the matter? i’m …
3.能用貼切的形容詞表述自己的感覺。

教具準(zhǔn)備：
圖片：hamburger, cake, bread, juice, milk, a hot-dog等
實物：hamburger，a glass of water ,a cake，some bread，milk，a fan等 、
磁帶、錄音機(jī)。
教學(xué)過程：
step 1.warm-up activities
(1)sing the song “we are happy bees”
(2)greetings
t:hello,boys and girls.good morning.
ss: good morning.
t:nice to meet you.
ss: nice to meet you,too.
(3)t:what are they?
ss:a hot dog/ hamburger/cake……
t:here’s a……for you.
ss:thank you.

1.teaching “what’s the matter? i’m tired”
(1)t: what’s the matter? what’s the matter? （教師做睡覺狀，并用低緩語調(diào)說：“i’m tired.”出示卡片what’s the matter?）
ss: what’s the matter?(理解其含義)
t：i’m tired. (教師做睡覺狀)
ss:read it one by one.(注意tired的正確發(fā)音)and spell it.

1.use the same way to teach “ill”
