一 教學內容：part a  read and say
二 教學目標:
1.知識目標：使學生會說，會寫，會用句型are they…? yes, they are./ no, they aren’t. 使學生掌握四會交際用語：how old are you? i’m…并拓展練習。how old is he/ she? how old are they are?
2.技能目標：學會詢問他人的姓名和年齡和職業，能把本課句型用到適當的情景中。
3.情感目標：激發學生對自己親人或其他人職業的關注，并能感受到行行出狀元。
三 教學重點：一般疑問句are they…? 和回答yes, they are. /no, they aren’t.
四 教學難點：they 和their的區別，不同職業的復數的讀音
五 教學用具：課件，卡片，句型紙卡
六 教學步驟
step1. warming up (free talk)
t: what’s your english name, ?
s: i’m .
t: oh, i see.
 t: what’s his/ her english name?
s: he’s / she’s .
t: excuse me, , what’s your english name?
s: i’m .
t: how old are you?
s: i’m 10.
step2. presentation and practice
t: , how old is he / she?
s: he’s / she’s 10. ( 展示句型紙卡，紅筆強調is.)
then ask two or three students who are 10.
t: how old are they?
s: they are ten..
t: are they ten?
s: yes, they are.
t: are they eleven?
s: no, they aren’t.
(板書重點句型are they…? yes, they are. /no, they aren’t. 拼讀they)
t: are they oranges/ apples? (圖片)
s: yes, they are. /no, they aren’t.
t: are they books/ rubbers?
s: yes, they are. / no, they aren’t.
then a student asks, another answers.

幻燈片顯示本單元所有出現的職業，一問一答。教學方式可多樣話，包括男生問女生答，老師問學生答，同桌互答等。

七.教后記
反思這一節課的教學設計，很多方面存在不足。首先課前的導入有些和上節課的重點脫節，沒有做到及時鞏固。在課堂用語上也有點重復。另外，上節課職業名詞的復數是個重點也是難點，在本節課的操練中還不到位。最后，本節課沒有突出以學生為中心，學生的自主意識不強。
