step 1 greetings
boys and girls, this is our first english class of the new term.
welcome back to school.
teach the students to learn the word : welcome
teach the students to use the word: welcome to nanjing/ welcome to jiangsu/ welcome to china/ welcome to my home/ welcome to our school
the students practice this sentence: welcome to… thank you.
step 2 free talk
1 t: haven’t seen you for a long holiday. how are you today?
s: fine, thank you. and you?
t: i’m ok. nice to meet you again.
s: nice to meet you, too.
step 3 presentation
如果班上有新學生,便自然指著新生問:who’s that…? he’s/she’s a new student. 如果班上沒有新學生,便用圖片或多媒體動畫引出who’s that…? he’s/she’s a new student.
step 4 look, read and learn
1. book 3a中已經學過a boy , a girl, a man, a woman,教師先復習這些詞,重點在讀、寫方面的指導。
2. 教師用多媒體動畫或讓學生裝扮成教師、醫生、護士,學習who’s that man/woman? he’s/ she’s a teacher/doctor/nurse.
3. 設計游戲來復習鞏固這四個詞。教師說出一個職業單詞,學生做動作。
4. 請一學生上臺做動作,全體學生說出這個職業單詞。運用本課主要句型問答who’s that man/woman? he’s/she’s a teacher/doctor/nurse.

1. 運用書上圖片來操練重點句型who’s that…? he’s/she’s a …
增加介紹人物的姓名he’s/she’s…學生可自由給人物起名,提醒學生姓名前不能加a .
2. 運用一些擴展的圖片,開闊學生視野,也增強學習興趣,利用于鞏固復習。如:白求恩大夫,南丁格爾護士,學校里的其他一些教師等。
3. 猜人游戲來鞏固句型。把一學生眼睛蒙起來,讓他通過摸一裝扮過的學生,猜出他的姓名和裝扮的職業,運用本課主要句型問答who’s that man/woman? he’s/she’s a teacher/doctor/nurse.
