本課時在上一課時的基礎上，進一步在情景中學習句型is this your...? he/she looks... what's he/she? they look... are they...?
第六課時
教學內容：
教學目標: 1.能聽、說、讀、寫四會單詞nurse,doctor,farmer,driver.
2.能用所學英語介紹自己的家庭成員并描述人物特征。
3.了解c部分故事內容。
4.了解英語國家有關生活習俗。
教學重點：單詞nurse, doctor, farmer, driver的拼寫。
教學難點：i’m going to be a…
教具準備：
1.圖片nurse, doctor, farmer, driver
2.教材相配套的教學錄音帶
3.單詞卡片
教學過程：
一 熱身/復習（warm-up/revision）
1.口語練習：how many people are there in your family?
who are they?
what are they?
2.讓學生改編b部分的chant, 然后表演出來。教師對表現出色的應即使給予獎勵。
二 呈現新課 （presentation）
1.教師出示表示表職業的單詞卡讓學生認讀，并貼在黑板上。
2.做找朋友的游戲。讓學生把圖片貼到相應的單詞下。
3.教師：i’m a teacher , but you are students now. what are you going to be?(教師指著圖片提示學生：are you going to be a driver?) 引導學生說出：i’m going to be a…
4.教師可根據學生的實際情況擴展一些職業詞匯：public servant , businessman / businesswoman, soldier, tailor, architect, waiter/waitress, journalist, carpenter.
5. 當學生說出i’m going to be a driver, nurse, doctor, farmer時，問學生can you spell this word?
6.看單詞卡，拼讀單詞。
7.教師在四線格中示范書寫單詞，學生在本上模仿拼寫。
8. 教師出示write and say部分的內容，讓學生看圖獨立完成短文。
9.通過read and write部分的動畫來學習本部分的內容。
10.學生小組為單位，模仿write and say部分表演，拿出自己的家庭照片，介紹自己的家庭。
三 趣味操練 （practice）
1.拼讀單詞列隊比賽
將全班分成兩組，教師發給每個學生一張字母卡片，不常用的字母(如q，z)可以一人多拿幾張，游戲開始，教師說一個單詞，如ship，或出示一張輪船的圖片，兩個組持s，h，i，p字母的學生應立即站到講臺前按順序站好隊，先按正確次序排好隊的為優勝。
2.字母組詞。
教師準備幾套與本課所學單詞有關的字母，讓學生以小組為單位拼出單詞，看哪組拼得又快又多。
