設計意圖:創設幫老師請保姆的調查活動。把每個學生都調動起來，整個班都溶入于學習英語，運用英語的氣氛中，學生不但練了運用英語的回話能力，也練了英語的認讀能力是整節課的高潮。

a.老師師范填寫一張卡片，再讓學生自由選擇。
b.請一個學生師范讀出自己參加什么小明星的評選，引導每個學生讀給自己的同學聽。
c.再根據自己的選擇投進吸引相應的投稿箱里，最后在廣播站公布評選結果。
設計意圖:把本來干燥無味的筆試練習，變成了學生有興趣的小明星評選活動的形式，練習了英語的書面表達能力，把語言知識上升到一個更高的層面。

設計意圖:把任務延伸到課外，給學生提供更多的時間與空間展示自我，同時合理、靈活地運用家庭資源可讓學生在用中學，也滲透對學生進行思想教育。
