lesson 9: let’s look at a map!教學(xué)目標：
1.知識目標：學(xué)生可以讀，寫，說出并聽懂詞匯 map, country, north, south, east 和 west。
2.能力目標：學(xué)生能正確指認英，美，中，澳，加幾個國家的位置并能說出英語名稱；能用英語表達生活中和地圖中的方向；能演唱英文歌曲。
3.情感目標：培養(yǎng)學(xué)生與人合作，互相幫助的情感態(tài)度和國際意識。
教學(xué)重難點：宏觀上初步掌握五個國家的位置，名稱，并用英語正確描述方向。
教學(xué)準備：
學(xué)生準備：課前查資料（關(guān)于講英語的國家有哪些，基本情況如何）
教師準備：世界地圖，錄音機，卡片，五個國家形狀的彩色貼圖。
教學(xué)過程：
一、 復(fù)習(xí)
t:hello, boys and girls
s:hello, teacher
t:today, i take two gifts for you. this is the first one, look at this(出示一張學(xué)生的全家福)
s:it’s a picture.
t:yes, who are they?
s: this is … this is her mother, this is …
t:yes,that’s right. how do they feel?
s:they are very happy.
t:do you like my gifts?
s:yes, we like it.
(教師在一開始上課便設(shè)計了“送禮物”這一情景，吸引學(xué)生的注意力，通過一張相片師生展開交流、討論，在教師的引導(dǎo)下鼓勵學(xué)生大膽的說英語，用英語,這種師生、生生交流體現(xiàn)了英語的交際性原則。)
t:ok. look at the second gift .it’s a riddle (謎語) if you can guess it ,i will show you.
so listen carefully:
it’s a piece of paper（紙.）
we can find many places on it .
what is it ?
s:是地圖？
t :well done. that’s a map.
now, today we will learn lesson9:let’s look at a map.
(在前面復(fù)習(xí)環(huán)節(jié)中教師設(shè)計的情景“送禮物”吸引了學(xué)生的注意力，接下來的第二個“禮物”抓住小學(xué)生好奇心強的特點，更是調(diào)足了學(xué)生的口味。第二個“禮物”猜“謎語” 讓學(xué)生積極的用英語思維去思考，當學(xué)生猜出答案“地圖”時，教師馬上可以自然導(dǎo)入到新內(nèi)容lesson9: “l(fā)et’s look at a map”同時也使學(xué)生在積極思考的同時體驗到了學(xué)習(xí)語言的快樂)
二、 新授
1、countries：china, canada, united states, australia, united kingdom
t:now, class, what’s this ?（出示一張大地圖）
s: it’s a map.（這里通過單個讀、整體讀、同桌讀等方式練習(xí)拼讀）
t:ok class. look at this map（教師手指著表示中國的紅色部分）
s:it’s china.
t:yes, that’s our “country”, yes?（教師反復(fù)強調(diào)our country）
s:yes. （這里學(xué)生通過教師的體態(tài)語，大概猜出了是“國家” 的意思）
t:ok, read after me. “country”
s:country.(通過讀時聲音強弱、長短的變化進行趣味性“讀”的操練，充分調(diào)動起學(xué)生讀的興趣，同時培養(yǎng)良好的語音語調(diào)。)
t:what colour is china ?
s:china is red.
t:china is where we live. yes?（鼓勵學(xué)生在一定的情景中猜出句子意思）
