2.教學圖片和卡片。
3.磁帶和錄音機。
五、教學過程：
step 1 warm up
1.打開課本，理解歌曲， 聽英語歌曲two jackets。
2.師生課前自由會話，引出glad to meet you。
step2 revision
1.教師出示4b第八單元的圖片，結合已學過的有關詞語 復習there is/ are…句型。
there is a library in our school.
there is a blackboard in our classroom..鼓勵學生用所復
習的句型說話。
step3 presentation
1.教師出示a reading room的圖片，用there is的句型引 出a reading room 和 floor。there is a reading room in our school. where is it？it’s on the first floor.
2.教師出示課文圖片，師生問答引出三會單詞和there be的一般疑問句和特殊疑問句：look！this is a new building. is there a reading room init？yes，it is.
how many reading room？i’m not sure. let’s go and see
there are two.

step 4 practice
.學生合上書本聽錄音，整體感知對話內容。
2.學生打開書本，聽錄音跟讀模仿。
3.分小組活動，在小組內表演對話。
4.請三至四名學生到臺前表演對話。
step5 consolidation
教師可將學校平面圖發放給學生，學生分組討論，以介紹校園為主題進行對話練習。
step 6 assign homework
1.聽錄音朗讀并表演對話。
2.以口語小組為單位，課后自由交談學校情況和布局，口語 組長檢查。
