本節課重點學習現在進行時的用法。本課中，我始終遵循語言教學規律，讓學生在真實的語言實踐活動中，通過感知、體驗、實踐、參與和合作等方式，實現任務目標，發展了學生的語言運用能力，讓學生感受了成功。具體體現在以下幾個方面：
一、詞匯教學，體現了語言的整體教學理念。
詞匯教學不是孤立的教學環節，我們在教學每個詞匯時，更不能脫離語境而孤立的教學，而要遵循詞不離句，句不離文的教學原則。教師要有意識地讓新授詞匯聯系起來，置于學生熟悉的語言環境中，這樣有助于學生更好地理解和記憶新詞匯。由于本課新授詞匯較多，我沒有孤立地一個個地創設情景，而是把 stand、sit與上課，walk、run、jump與操場, sweep the floor、clean the windows、wash clothes與做家務聯系起來，僅創設了三個學生熟悉的真實情景，化零為整，從而減少了諸多語言情景的干擾，便于學生容易理解和記憶，很好地體現了整體語言教學理念。另外在新授詞匯時，教師如能將互不相通的單詞賦予一定意義上的整體性，教學效果將會更佳。
二、語言訓練，遵循了趣味性、活動化、多樣性的教學原則。
在新知呈現之后，教師如果一味地采取反復朗讀、背誦等機械性的訓練方式，這樣不但課堂教學收效甚微，而且學生學習英語的積極性將會大大降低。因此，教師應充分考慮到語言訓練的趣味性和多樣性，通過表演、唱歌、游戲、競賽、猜謎和畫畫等小學生容易接受的活動形式，讓學生在豐富多彩的語言訓練活動中掌握新的語言項目，從而進一步來激發學生參與學習的欲望，讓他們享受成功后的喜悅。在本課教學中，我多次利用chant、兒歌、游戲等學生喜聞樂見的活動形式，讓學生在動中樂、樂中學、學中用，活躍了課堂氣氛，扎實有效地掌握了語言知識。
當然，在本課教學中，我也發現了一些不盡人意之處，有待在今后教學中進一步地調整與改進。如：整堂課，由于我過多地注重了利用語言情景的創設、語言訓練多樣化、培養學生的聽、說、讀的能力，而忽視了對學生寫的能力的培養。因此，在鞏固環節中，如能讓同桌討論后把結果寫下來，這樣不僅能提高學生的英語書寫能力，還能進一步地促進學生聽、說、讀能力的提高，從而進一步培養學生的語言綜合運用能力。
