listen to the tape , twice ,and try to match them.

listen again and try to finish 1b, then discuss the answers.

5.  practice in groups or pairs.

1.show a picture on the tv and explain these are your home and school .teach  1 how long  2 10 minutes   home----------school
look at 2d  then make up a dialogue to practice.
a: how do you get to school?
b: i usually take the bus.
a: how long does it take?
b: it takes 30 minutes by bus

2. practice  學生看圖片,小組內合作練習,找學生回答,老師就學生情況作出評價.

c how far is it from his home to school?
⑵ check the answers and solve the difficult points.
4. play games to practice “how” “how long ” “how far”
找幾組同學當小演員，互相猜出他/她花費多長時間上學，離校多遠，答案與接近的組為優勝組。
