2、在would you mind + doing句型中，需注意：doing為動名詞。動名詞既具有動詞的某些特征，也具有名詞的某些特點。
動名詞由“動詞原形 + ing”構成。在某些動詞之后只能接動名詞，而某些動詞后面只能接動詞的不定式。后面常接動名詞的詞有：mind, finish, enjoy,
eg.: he enjoys walking in the park.

動名詞的否定式由“not + 動名詞”構成
would you mind not doing…? 請不要……好嗎？
eg.: would you mind not wearing the old jeans?

3、would的常用句型：
would作為情態動詞，主要用于第二人稱的疑問句中，表示詢問對方的意愿或者想對方提出請求，時間指現在或者將來。would的語氣要比will更加婉轉和客氣。常用的句型除“would you mind doing…？”之外，還有：
would you please…? 請……可以嗎？
would you like…? 需要……嗎？
would you like to…? 你愿意……嗎？
eg.: would you please do me a favor? sure.
would you like a cup of coffee?
yes, please./no, thanks.
would you like to join us?
i would like to.
would you mind closing the door? 你介意把門關上嗎？
no, not at all.
在提出請求或發出邀請時，除了上述would表示的句型之外，還可以說：
could you please do something? 請你做某事可以嗎？
eg.: could you please help me with my housework?
sure./certainly.
i’m afraid not.
這一句型的否定式是：could you please not do something?請你不要做某事好嗎？
