【注意】 用在引導讓步狀語從句的從屬連詞后，不能同時用并列連詞but，但可用still，yet等詞加強語氣。

【易混辨析】
though，although，as
(1)though，although，as都可引導讓步狀語從句。
(2)although較正式，多置于句首。它引導的狀語從句只能用自然語序。
(3)though引導的讓步狀語從句，除了用于自然語序外，也可用于倒裝語序。另外though還可用作副詞置于句末意為“然而”。
(4)as引導讓步狀語從句，從句必須用倒裝語序。其中表語名詞提前時不加冠詞。謂語動詞前置時，從句要加may，might，can，could，will，would等情態動詞或助動詞do，does，did等；如是及物動詞，賓語也要隨著提前。
①although he is very young，he can do it well.
雖然他很年輕，但他能做好。
②though she was no more than twenty-two，she was already a highly successful businesswoman.
雖然她不過才22歲，卻已經是一位非常成功的女商人了。
③try as she might，sue couldn’t get the door open.
無論休怎樣努力，她就是打不開門。
④lose money as i did，i got a lot of experience.
我雖然丟了錢，但得到很多經驗。

【句法分析】 此處seem to be doing結構表示“好像正在做某事”的意思。seem有以下句型結構：

(1)seem(to be)＋adj./n./介詞短語/分詞
好像……/看上去好像
seem＋to do/to have done/to be doing
好像要做……/已做了……/正在做……
(2)it seems that...好像……(用陳述語氣)
it seems as if/though...看上去好像……(從句可用虛擬語氣)
there seems to be...好像有……
