t: let me tell you. it is made from wood. (說的時候語速要慢,重音放在from。)
(引導學生總結be made of與be made from的區別。板書并解釋。)
be made of + 材料:表示原材料容易被看出。
be made from + 材料:表示原材料經過化學變化,不易被看出。
2. (讓學生不要打開課本,聽1a,回答下列問題,聽后核對答案。)
t: don’t open your books. listen to the tape carefully and try to find out the answers to the questions.
(出示小黑板。)

(2)who made the model rocket?
(3)what a rocket is used for?
(核對答案。)
3. (讓學生打開課本,找出疑難句。教師出示小黑板。)

(解釋此句使用了虛擬語氣,在此只要求了解。)
i hope your dream will come true.
step 3 consolidation 第三步 鞏固(時間:8分鐘)
鞏固1a及be made of/from, be used for的用法。完成1b。
1. (讓學生打開課本,再聽1a錄音,學生跟讀,感受純正的語音語調。)
t: open the books, listen to the tape and read after it. pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
2. (讓學生找出對話中的關鍵詞,教師板書。然后讓學生根據關鍵詞兩人對話復述1a。)
t: boys and girls, let’s find out the key words together, ok?

jane→unhappy / not allowed / be bad for
kangkang→a model rocket / be made of metal
be used for / satellites or spaceships / learn… from…/ wish/ hope/ come true
3. (讓學生認真閱讀1b中的例子,然后讓他們仿照例子用實物編對話,完成1b。)
t: in 1b, we can see two dialogs. read them carefully and pay attention to the sentence patterns, “be made of”, “be made from” and “be used for”. make similar conversations in pairs.

由一般現在時的被動語態,引出一般過去時的被動語態并加以操練。引出2a的內容,展開任務型活動,讓學生掌握目標語言。完成2b。
