t: and when was it invented?
ss: it was invented in 1903.
t: we have talked about so many inventions. now we are going to learn something new about a great technology. (拿出圖片。) now look at this picture. what animal is it?
ss: it’s a sheep.
t: yes, it is a sheep, and it is a cloned sheep. have you ever heard of clone?
(教師釋義并領讀clone,要求學生掌握。)

ss: yes, of course.
t: that’s very good. cloning is a famous experiment throughout the world. so far, scientists have cloned many animals to save those animals in danger. the cloning technology has been used in human organs. it can benefit human beings.

3. (讓學生再讀3a并討論3b中的問題,完成3b。)
4. (指導學生用剛才自己所畫的3a中的關鍵詞,以接龍的方式復述3a。)
