問學生是否非常清楚他們已學過的單詞重音的正確位置,向學生解釋,單詞重音的位置是非常重要的。
請學生認真閱讀課本第76頁表格中的規則
教師為學生解釋規則,然后緩慢、清晰地讀出表格中的例詞,請學生跟讀,多練習幾遍,使學生對于單詞重音有一個比較清晰的、準確的概念。
請學生自由、大聲地朗讀這些例詞,然后請學生任意地說出一些單詞,其他學生仔細聽,判斷重音位置是否正確。

1.讓學生兩人一組,象他們的同伴朗讀每76頁練習部分的單詞,鼓勵學生相互檢查發音。
2.向學生解釋課本每76頁的練習。教師說
:“mr wu is teachiing about stress in words .please listen carefully and underline the syllables that are stressed
3.教師播放一遍錄音,學生畫出每個單詞的重讀音節,鼓勵學生獨立完成練習,如果他們有不明白的地方,可以與同伴商量。
