注意區(qū)別與and的用法，and通常用于連接主語或賓語，連接主語時，如果有i, i通常放在 and 之后，如：
my father and i usually play chess together.
play with “和…一起玩耍”“玩…”
i often play with my pet dog.
don’t play with water!
5、day和night 是一對反義詞，day 表示白天或一天，night表示夜或夜晚。
通常說in the day, during the day, at night。
koala bears often sleep during the day and eat leaves at night.
6、leaf n. 葉子
復(fù)數(shù)形式為：leaves, 類似的變化還有：wife—wives, wolf—wolves, knife—knives等。
7、hour n. 小時；點鐘
hour前邊通常加上冠詞an 表示“一個小時”， 即：an hour。
there are 24 hours in a day and 60minutes in an hour.
8、be from 來自…
be from = come from
pandas are from china. = pandas come form china.
9、meat n. （食用的）肉，為不可數(shù)名詞，表示“許多”時，使用much來修飾，即：much meat。
he eats much meat every day.
10、grass n. 草， 為不可數(shù)名詞，表示“許多”時，使用much來修飾，即：much grass。
there is much grass on the playground.

學(xué)生分析：通過go for it七上的學(xué)習(xí)，大部分學(xué)生對why/what/where引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問句已具備較強的聽說能力，而本單元圍繞“animals”的教學(xué)活動貼近學(xué)生生活，學(xué)生有強烈的興趣和好奇心，使他們產(chǎn)生了解的欲望，有利于引導(dǎo)他們自主學(xué)習(xí)。本單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容我是用了三節(jié)課完成，又用了第四節(jié)來復(fù)習(xí)。七班的學(xué)生大部分性格偏內(nèi)向，不喜歡表達和展現(xiàn)自己，但大部分同學(xué)有一定的英語基礎(chǔ)，通過教師的恰當引導(dǎo)，能完成教學(xué)任務(wù)。
教材分析：本單元的topic是animals, 要求學(xué)生掌握一些新的動物名詞，學(xué)會用表示性質(zhì)和品質(zhì)的形容詞來描述動物，并能用“why do you like…? because….” 來陳述喜歡的原因。通過討論動物，讓學(xué)生了解大自然，增長地域知識，增進對自然環(huán)境的情感；通過討論自身的喜好及原因，提高學(xué)生的認知和思維能力。教材在第一、第二單元的基礎(chǔ)上對已有的語言項目進行拓展，符合學(xué)生的認知規(guī)律，循序漸進。
教學(xué)重難點：根據(jù)本節(jié)課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容和學(xué)生對知識的理解程度，結(jié)合本課的教學(xué)目標與學(xué)習(xí)目標，確定本節(jié)課的重點是在交際活動的過程中運用句型why do you like…? where are they from? what do they like? 難點為重點句型的實際運用及why/what/where引導(dǎo)的問句的表達方式。
教學(xué)準備：教師制作ppt ; 課前布置學(xué)生想一想自己喜歡的動物，并簡單陳述理由。
教學(xué)過程：
