3. listening practice
open the books , look at 1a. the teacher has the students listen carefully and then plays the tape twice。 students listen and match them。the teacher checks the answers on the screen with the students 。

4. 出示圖片向學生呈現表示動物的單詞：koala， bear, tiger, elephant, dolphin, panda, lion, penguin, giraffe等。要求學生能看到圖片立即說出單詞。
5. 布置任務，學生以2人為一組，運用所學的內容進行對話，并根據所學的知識擴展話題編對話，談論自己的喜好。（要求全班同學每人跟自己的同伴結對，用所學的表示動物及動物特征的單詞編一組對話，并談論各自對動物的喜好。）
6.① 2a聽錄音，填入所聽到的單詞，并把表示動物和表示動物特征的單詞連線。
②2b聽錄音用所給的詞完成對話

一.教材分析：1a-2c
本單元主要是通過學習動物名稱和常見的有關描述動物的形容詞，學會表達個人對動物的喜好；學會運用why, what, where引導的問句，了解動物的外形、生活習性及主要產地，并能運用英語簡單描述自己喜歡的動物，進一步培養和激發熱愛動物、保護動物、維護生態平衡的樸素情懷。而本節只是學習動物名稱和幾個描述動物的形容詞，并學會詢問為什么及回答原因。
二.教學目標：
知識目標：1、識記詞匯：zoo, animal, tiger, elephant, koala，dolphin, panda, lion, penguin, giraffe, cute, fun, smart, kind of
2、掌握句型：why do you like koalas?
because they’re cute.
能力目標：1.熟練掌握動物名稱的英語表達.
2.學會用形容詞來描述相關的動物.
3.熟練談論自己喜愛的動物并給出理由
情感態度目標: 學生通過談論動物，從而學會關愛動物，愛護大自熱。
