教師示范第一幅圖，然后讓學生討論其它圖。最后讓學生選擇圖表演對話。
3、小結一下過去式：一般過去時表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態，常和表示過去的時間狀語連用，如a moment ago, just now等。動詞be的過去式為was和were。第一人稱單數和第三人稱單數用was，其余用were.

教學過程：
一.revision
1.師生用where is /where are…?這一句型進行問答，復習b中所學單詞。
二.presentation and practise
1.play a game（變魔術）
師走到一生旁邊說 :what’s this in english?(rubber)
can i have it,please? （伸手做要的姿勢）
轉向全班 t:boys and girls,what’s in my hand?
s:it’s a rubber.（將橡皮轉移）
t:a rubber?let’s have a look?（師打開手心）oh dear!it’s not here now.
it was here just now.it was here a moment ago.
（重復幾遍，理解just now）
t:where’s the rubber?（指導學生尋找）
t:oh look.it’s on the ground.（學習ground）
can you pick it up for me,please?（sure）
（同法出示2塊橡皮）教師在用復數的物體來變魔術
引出：they’re on the ground.

2.教師向學生展示準備好的照片。
